Arby's

I did my first shop today and I will be doing more..... even at normal fee. The place was very clean with very friendly people working there. The tea was fantastic and very refreshing. The fries were good and the turkey with bacon was soooo incredibly good. I was so surprised it was that fresh and tasty!! My... I was impressed. The
report was simple and easy to do. smiling smiley

Glad you enjoyed it. It is one of my favorites, partly because the report is so easy! And I don't like their "fake" roast beef -- but I do like cutting down my grocery bill!

I guess the rules are slightly different for each location? All of mine have instructed me to purchase whichever sandwich I want in the LTO, but I noticed one instructed any side, and another said it must be curly fries. I always double check, but only recently have I noticed different rules popping up just a few miles apart and with the same owners of that particular franchise.

What's LTO? The closest I can find to a meaning is Lettuce, Tomato and Onions.

Never mind, just found it means Limited Time Offer. I'll put that in the acronym thread.

It's real meat, it's just reconstructed, lol. And it's the original roast beef they started with way back when. The newer meat sandwiches have "real" meat.

I seem alone on this one, but years ago I did the Arby's that you give the certificate to and first time eating there, came home and threw up, my one and only Arby's experience is imbedded in my mind, couldn't pay me enough.

Oh that is so awful. I don't blame you for not wanting to give it another shot. I had a friend who found a fingernail in her sandwich and she won't eat there, either. All it takes is just one bad experience.
It's a wonderful process, they should make a "How It's Made" video on it; mechanically separated, sludge-ized, restructured, press-formed and dried to it's succulent final structure.
Ha, that reminds me of my mother describing a documentary she saw about how maraschino cherries are made. I always get the cherries from her shakes and ice cream. smiling smiley

Have you seen the photo of the Bourbon BBQ Bacon Brisket? I get the Arbys promo emails because I'm in their birthday club Man! I wish that was what they served at mine!!!!!

This round is drive-thru!!!!!
Spicy, the LTOs I've had have had real brisket/steak/pork. No preformed, reformed, meat-like substances for me, thank you!
I once threw up in an Arby's before doing the shop. That was really embarrassing. It was before I got their food, so I can't blame them. I still live with the shame of this though.

I need to sit down and sign up with more companies. I'd shop Arby's in a hot NY second as long as I didn't have to order a Reuben. What a thought, eating something hot on the road that isn't from Laredo Taco Company. Oh heaven!
