For a more verbose answer, it depends, LOL. Retail will often drop off. Stores hiring temporary Christmas help are not always hip to the idea of paying to have them mystery shopped. Those folks are more often just warm bodies who can't be expected to have a great deal of product knowledge. I have not noticed a similar lack of shops in many industries such as new cars, apartments or gas station audits.
One change is for most clients/MSCs, it will be the fourth quarter. The short time to wrap up shops in November and December so everyone can get a holiday break also means end of the month and end of the quarter comes much earlier from the bonus perspective.
