Kia Oil Change?

Hi and thanks in advance for anyone with a potential lead for me. I have been doing oil change mystery shops for as long as I've been a mystery shopper. In fact, I don't think I've paid for an oil change on any of my cars since about 2002. However, I recently acquired a new Kia, and would like to have my oil changes done at a Kia dealership, at least while it's still under warranty. I can't find any mystery shopping company that offers Kia dealership oil change shops. I've found Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai, Toyota and Honda, but no Kia. I realize the rules of this forum mean we can't discuss the mystery shopping company name on this thread, but if anyone has a lead and is willing to send me a direct message, it would be greatly appreciated! I shop in Canada, by the way.

Your post generated a link to "More About Oil Change & Car Servicing Mystery Shopping." It will take you to discussions about service shops so you may be able to ascertain some potential companies. Meanwhile, you could actually ask if there are any Kia service shops. If there are not you have nothing to hunt down.

Such a thing would be so easy in my neck of the woods, when my dealership services my Kia they are such professionals and fast, courteous. The always send me a survey afterwards, which may preclude the need for mystery shoppers.
Well, since this thread can't go anywhere as far as answering the OP's request, I'll just hijack it and relate my one and only experience with a Kia-dealership oil change in my neck of the woods....it was not a mystery shop, BTW. It was not just for a Kia, either, but for any car. But the Kia dealership had an oil change special going on, something like $14.95 or some crazy-low fee like that, and it was for any type of car, not just a Kia. This was back around 1999-2001, somewhere in there. Anyway, while waiting for my car to be serviced, I hear this employee behind the computer call out, "This F*&#*%G computer!"...... loud enough for anyone in the waiting room to hear! Now, I'm not a prude, but I'm a firm believer in proper customer relations, and to me, that surely didn't meet the guidelines! So I went to the manager and explained what I heard. What made me even angrier was that the manager tried to patronize me and dismiss it by telling me, "Oh, no....that's not what you heard. You heard him say, That SUCKING computer" Oh brother! So I told him, no, that's not what I heard....I know what I heard, and that I was going to call Kia Corporate and report it, which I did. I have no idea of the outcome. Then.....to top it all off, when I got home, I just happened to look under the hood, and there was my oil cap, sitting on top of the radiator!! It had not been replaced!! Needless to say, I have never been back to a Kia dealership, and I never recommend them to anyone, either! End of story!

Sorry I didn't realize that even direct messages were not permitted in response to my type of question. Instead then, can anyone in the Forum confirm if they have ever seen a Kia dealership oil change mystery shop?
My new local Kia dealership has more than made up for my old Kia dealership (where I actually bought my cars) by leaps.
Underground woman, most independent contractor agreements include a non-disclosure clause. Answering your question in any format would be violating a contract.

Could you tell me the companies that do Honda and chrystler! I have had a chevy for ever and was doing oil changes through a mystery shop company. But I can't find a company for my new cars!
Thank you
As has been stated, that's against the rules and for most MSC's against their contracts.

I'd suggest just signing up for as many of the companies that are listed here as legit companies and you'll eventually find them (if they exist).

I've been signing up for 3-4 companies a week right now. Time consuming, but doable.

Also, different companies have contracts in different regions. So even if people could tell you, your region may be different.
Am I the only one who finds it mind boggling the information on ICAs would have to be repeated on such a short thread?

Not at all.

No, it's not mind boggling, it's typical, LOL. Some people don't read through, and in the past, there have been regular forum members who asked over and over again and were told over and over again that it was a violation of ICAs and also against forum rules. Repeat offenders will offend again repeatedly.
Makes me wonder if they are doing it on purpose - either because someone will crack eventually (so they'll get their answer) or because they are with an MSC and trying to find offenders.
I don't think it's the latter. And the posters in this thread I think just didn't know.
I think many people know and ask anyway because they know there are many shoppers who don't care about ICAs who will PM anyway.
