OK, I'm no whiz at this, but let me tell ya. If I want to look you up on Facebook, I'll use your REAL name. If I see you're in Timbuktu, and not expected back for 30 days, and I know you live in a mansion, there are NUMEROUS sites where I can get your address, home phone, etc. Many of the sites are free, and some of the ones you pay for are cheap, like $19.95 a year.
So post your vacation pictures AFTER you get home!
My nephew, who is a security expert, actually said it's best to stay off social media.

If you know someone's name and county /state they live in, you can find the address they live at or property they own very easily since it's publicly available.

Not if that person is smart and protects themselves!
My home address is not listed anywhere under my name and the only people that have it are those I give it to. I have no concerns about posting when I'm away from home...unless I didn't tell my boss I was going out of town
