Anyone Else Think Jason Rivera/JC and Associates is a THIEF!!

Sad to say this still sticks in my craw...and maybe my misfortune will make people aware of the kind of person Jason Rivera/JC and Associates is and the way he conducts business.

Jason released a shop to a client I did back in December...it was not returned to me for clarification and I was never notified that there were problems with it or that it was rejected. It was a jungle of a shop...He never saw fit to pay me for it and I was out $55.00. I did the bar shop, the lunch shop and the gift shop shop.

I self-assigned the same shop in January. I got the reminder email the first morning of the three-day shop period. I went off and completed the shop the first day. When I returned home, an email from Jason was waiting for me, timed around 5:00 pm. He said the client cancelled the shop. I emailed him and got no reply. I emailed a second time and his email account has no longer live. I am out $55.00 for that shop, as well.

A tough $110.00 lesson to learn...that Jason Rivera and JC and Associates were thieves. They stole one report from me...and cancelled s shop late in the day after reminding me earlier that day that the shop period had arrived.

Anyone else still owed money?

JC&Assoc. has been out of business for awhile, I believe all year. There site is no longer up and the company was sold to MarketStat. I might contact Marketstat. When was this job done by you?

Live consciously....
I did a shop in May 2009 that Jason never paid though the report saled through editing. I contacted Marketstat and "as a goodwill gesture," (their quotes) they paid me. I doubt anything can be done about the January one, but I would certainly contact them about the other.

Were they still in business in Dec/Jan? I thought the new company had taken over long before then....????
I believe the contract dates of the sale was Dec.

JC and Associates' site was up and running in December, so I was able to report my December shop and schedule my January shop. The site was up in early January, since I logged into my account, but saw that the shop "had disappeared" from my account.

Thanks for the advice - I will contact Marketstat and see what happens.
