Compare Shoe Shops?

Because they are now bonused, I have been considering doing one of the 'Compare Shoe Shops' - where you shop two different shoe stores and use the same scenario to compare experiences. Both of the available locations are in the same mall and I am already going to be in the area, so has anyone done one of these shops? How much is involved? How long is the report? A lot of narrative?

I signed up for one, but haven't done it yet. It doesn't look too bad. You just go in and experience the service and try on at least one pair of shoes at two different stores back to back. The first part of the report is just a handful of multiple choice questions and then a short description of the experience in each store, then they want you to compare who had better service and why, who had a better facility and why, etc.
The only one in my area was for stores that were miles apart. I would have done it if they were near each other.
Yes, and if you do the comparison shop, then you are ineligible to complete the reimbursement shop for $35 for an entire year. I would rather get a pair of shoes any day.

Good to know. I was thinking about those, but have stayed away because it seems like they are trying to get 2 shops for the price of one. I really like my $35 "discount" on shoes.

I would never do them. Even with the bonus it's still low pay.
Before the bonus, the pay was $10 to do both shops! That's laughable!
Have you noticed there are a few bank shops that pay $5. Initially, I thought It was a phone shop and then I saw "You must visit the assigned location." The hell I will!!! I have had phone shops pay better than that with some paying up to $15 for a single call.
For someone who has done the shoe-shop comparisons: can you compare the narratives for this shop type with other narratives? I would say that 5-6 narratives of at least 250 or at most 700 characters are not so bad and block out time to write that. Other shoppers might think in another way about that number of characters. Thank you. smiling smiley
