I Want Some Weekly Food Shops!

Through Ardent, I consistently had food shops every Sunday. Can anyone recommend other MSCs? I do SeeLevel when they have their wings shops. Bare no longer has their tex-mex. I have no interest in doing ACL shops, and I do Market Force once a month. One hit wonders were InTouch InSight and Second to None. The Market Viewpoint guidelines changed for their sports bar, so that's a no.

I dunno, I like ACL's carryout pizza shops. Super super easy. But I did a Strategic Reflections sub shop last week that was pretty good. How about Spies in Disguise? They do a wings shop (same wings restaurant that another MSC shops). Did you look on I Secret Shop? I sometimes see restaurant shops there.
Then there are Bare and Intelllishop for pizza and Reality Based Group for steak or burger shops. And Mercantile has a good restaurant shop that can be completed alone. They have some that are carryout shops that I really like.

North Fork doesn't have food shops here.

Thanks JAS. I'm not big on pizza. I did iSS once and loved it, but I haven't seen that shop lately. I'll look into Spies in Disguise! RBG has a 90 day rotation. Mercantile doesn't have food shops here.

You don't have that one restaurant that is known for having lots of beers? You are signed up on both of Mercantile's websites, as they use both Sassie and Shop Metrics?

I do a few for the Source and Customer Impact....good luck

Well, the thing about ACLs carryout pizza shops is that most pizza restaurants have other types of food as well. I did a pizza shop the other night for them and got 1 small pizza and 2 different kinds of salads. It was carryout with a few photos, and the report took about 20 minutes to complete. I did another carryout at a different pizza restaurant a few weeks ago where I got a small pizza, a calzone, a salad, and a sub since the reimbursement limit was $32. I can eat off one shop for several days. Also, they don't make you get a particular type of pizza with certain kinds of toppings or a limited amount of toppings. I often get white pizzas with chicken, tomatoes, basil, feta, spinach, etc. Yummy.
Yes, that's true, the Source does have a decent burger restaurant where you can go alone. Customer Impact restaurants in my area generally require a partner and they are usually fine dining here, so there is quite a bit of detail though not as intense as Coyle's.
CI has some take out shops in a lot of areas that I have seen.

That's good to know about CI. I do two shops a year for them and neither of them are take out, but now I have hope smiling smiley

I did an online ordering carryout shop for Marketforce last night that was so easy it was ridiculous. It reimbursed $24 for 1 entree and whatever else I wanted. I had dinner last night, lunch today, and dinner tonight with some leftover for my lunch tomorrow.
They seem to have a standard lunch shop/dinner shop/takeout shop combo they sell to a lot of small clients.

CI has a great sandwich place for one in L.A. and a couple rib places which has let me eat alone, and have take out. I'm able to do one each month. Service Sleuth has a burger place...just search within your companies, many have food places. The Source lets you eat alone for all their restaurants with easy reports. Goodwin has shops on ISS, but most have age requirement of 45, although I have done a burger place on ISS in Beverly Hills.

Although not good pay Goodwin has plenty through I Secret Shop. Reality Based Group has a steakhouse. Confero has some. Bare has that infamous pizza client now. Alta360 has some sub shops. You know about SeeLevel wing shops. HSBrand/Service Sleuth has three I Know of. Sinclair may have some not sure about your area. If you work for Marketforce they have several fast/casual food. That's all I can think of right now. You could also do other shops non food and use that to pay for your restaurant food whatever you want. 2-3 gas shops at base pay would cover a dinner at most places for 2 for about the same time.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
It was a pleasant surprise when Maritz had 2 weeks of food shops using an app. Unfortunately it was probably a 1-time project. Sentry has a high end and several casual dining shops monthly.

North Fork has some C-stores shops in NJ and you need to get subs..

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
The ones I see are in airports.

Great info Buff, thank you!

The Goodwin shops are near work, so that will work. RBG has a 90 day rotation, and I was there in August. I only see greasy pizza shops on Ala360 and burgers at MFI. ACL has a gas station/convenience store shop that actually has decent food. Very nice gas and food allowance.

Just got finished with my belly up to the bar shop at the steakhouse with half my steak in a to-go box. Yum, sure was tasty. They did such a nice job, I love it when everything goes right!
Beer doesn't make my radar. Now if they had a lot of wine, I would be camped out on the deck!

I am sure that they have wine and plenty of it, but that is not what that particular restaurant is known for. Beer is not in the ordering requirements and there is a generous $35 reimbursement.

The editors are on it tonight, my steakhouse bar shop was graded 30 minutes after submission and I was given a 10.
Yes, they sure do go fast. I have to do the bar visit and go by myself so I can have a steak and a big beer, and I only do it when hubby is out of town. If I take him we will spend $60 on food and the maximum 2 drinks we are allowed. Not including tip.
The bar one does no go as quickly as the dine in one goes but it goes a few days later.

Can you get tea or water at the bar and will the bartender find it odd if I don't drink. That s if you are allowed to say

You can get tea AND water but not water by itself. It's not unusual for people to sit alone at the bar and drink tea or soda. There are people who sit at the bar when alone so that they aren't in the dining room at a table by themselves and then there are people who like the bar for the social interaction (even though you don't have to talk to anyone). Some people who are in town on business might not want to drink if they have to travel or work early.
If you decide to have a drink you are only allowed one anyway. I get a ribeye and a tall beer and it comes to just a few bucks over the reimbursement amount with my tip. And I always have some to take home.
I really like them, but they have a 90 day rotation. I did the bar shop in August.
