Computer System Down and Receipt Not Available

I recently did a shop where the computer system was down so a receipt could not be printed for me. The manager hand-wrote a receipt for me instead. I would have completed the shop a different day except I was not informed until the service on my car had already been completed. I submitted the report and commented on what happened, but it has been a few days and I have not yet heard from the editor. I am curious if anyone else has ever had this happen and what the outcome was afterward? Thanks!

Did you pay with a credit card? You could also grab a screen shot of your online credit card statement, print it out, black out any sensitive information, and then scan it and send it to the MSC.
Yes, I've had it happen once. I sent a copy of my bank statement showing the transaction, took the store business card, geo verified, and took a photo of the front of the store.

I emailed my scheduler after submitting my report explaining what happened.

I was paid. Scheduler told me not to worry and thanked me for the thorough note taking.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. I've never missed being paid because I was unable to get a receipt for a legitimate reason, after I explained in the report the reason I didn't have the receipt. And you DO have a receipt, a hand-written one from the manager. You've met the requirement.
I paid with cash, so there is no way to get a copy of my transaction electronically. So we will see. I sent an e-mail explaining the situation further after completing the survey, but it has been over a week and I still haven't received a reply or anything from the editor.
