Gigspot

I hate Gigspot!
I must be having a senior moment. I assumed if you changed your information on your profile at Gigspot, all the companies listed would get that info.
Well, apparently not as my pay has been sent to old addresses, old paypal account and old bank accounts! And it's the Holidays!!!!
What can and should i do?
I also want to change my email log in info to companies. How?
Thanks in advance...
Linda

Get rid of Gigspot.

First make a list of all the companies on Gigspot. Then, email Gigspot and asked to be removed. Then, log directly in to each company's Shopmetrics site and sign up for them separately..... I did just this a few months ago and have not regretted it one bit.

Gigspot SUCKS! No other way to put it. Opt out. Everyone has - or those smart enough to do so. ISS - Good. Gigspot - SUCKS!

So do I need to tell GigSpot each company that I want removed? When you sign up to each company separately do you use a different email address than you had originally? Anyone have a list of companies that use GigSpot? I can cobble together my own list but don’t want to miss any.

Update - I see there is a list of companies right on the Gigspot website. Hopefully it is all inclusive.

You can find a list of companies on the GigSpot site. To withdraw, you just need to send an email to the Gigspot administrator.

You then got to each MSC's Shopmetics site and complete any profile information they require. You should already be registered in each as you had done so through GigSpot.

I mailed Gigspot and was almost immediately deactivated. I am now able to go directly to each company that I had previously enrolled with. I was able to use the original user names and passwords thanks to my saved RoboForm info. I should have done this months ago. I also now have some new companies to register with thanks to the list on the Gigspot site.

I'm so glad to read this thread and know I'm not the only one who doesn't like working with them.
Gigspot is terrible. I feel bad for companies who get sucked into using it. Finding supporting documentation is awful, supporting documentation is particularly unavailable from the mobile site, and surveys are crazy. I have to jump back and forth using the jump function to find which section I am filling out. There are no headers, so if you have to evaluate, let's say, three departments at a store, you cannot find out which is in which order without using the jump-to. Also, past job details are not preserved. Just checked my pay statements and it appears I'm going to be really, really underpaid for a job.
