My bartender checked i.d. but ABC said it was brothers and height was off.Everything else matched!

I'm 5'1". My fake ID made me 5'5". Back when I was using it, the height was the least of my problems.

On guessing someone else's height: If I do not consider the shoes I am wearing, it is impossible for me to make a reasonable guess about someone else's height. For example, if I am wearing flats, I guess according to my actual height. If I am wearing heels, I guess according to my height in the height of the heels. But what if I forget about my shoes? *oops*

What if there is another measuring system, such as how tall others look when they stand near a co-worker of a certain height. What if something happens there? The co-worker is wearing different shoes or taller/shorter hairstyle.*oops*

If this was not a convenience store with the height chart posted conveniently at the door, it would be difficult for anyone to make an accurate guess about the height. But, what if certain features in the bar room are used when gauging height? In our fictitious bar, we might wonder: How far off the ground is the railing behind the round tables? How high off the ground is the top or bottom of the fake plant on the north wall? How tall is Server A? How tall is Server B? Would this information help us to determine someone's height? *oops?*

I usually compare the employees height to my own and then guess how much shorter or taller than are to me. This worked reasonably well until my last medical checkup when I found out I was at least one inch shorter than I used to be! Getting older and shorter by the minute.
There are a few places I shop where they want to know the height and it has to be a total guess for me because the employee is sitting down the whole time. I've never been questioned about my answer so I guess I'm close enough.
