Jobslinger Sassie: To pay or not to pay

When I signed up for Jobslinger, I signed up to pay the $5.99 a month. I recently got a Note 8 so maybe that is the reason I'm getting a text with each shop notification as well as the app notification. This text is bugging the hell out of me! I texted back "Off", which is in the text as a way to stop the texts but it doesn't work. The text arrives far ahead of the app notification, like 4 minutes, so if the link worked it might be a good thing because I would be paying to receive notifications ahead of people who are not paying but it doesn't work. Does anyone else pay, know what I'm talking about and have a solution? Is it worth paying for?

I did the 30 day free trial and didn't see anything special about it, so I cancelled it.
I, too, tried the 30 day free trial, and didn't really see any advantages over the free version. So I'm just using the free version.
I am another who won't pay to work. I did the 30 day free trial years ago but not a dime has been paid for a subscription. I don't think you need it and it sounds like a PITA.
In my first month of shopping, it helped me find a few MSC's, but otherwise was not all that helpful.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
When I attended my VSP video training a few years ago I learned about JSP. I signed up immediately and continue to benefit. JSP assignments more than compensate for the modest cost. Regardless of whether you are full or part time, if you are introduced to one new company or reminded about a company that you may not have worked with for awhile, it's definitely worth it. Consider also the spin-off additional assignments that may present themselves, the benefit of working with a scheduler who may also possibly schedule for other companies, as well as the opportunity to broaden and sharpen your mystery shopping skills.
Are you notified on the Sassie APP of available assignments if you do not pay? I am assuming the benefit is easy apply and .....I don't know, I'll take a look in the next few days and see what I get because I pay and report back.
