Panda Express?

Has anyone done these? They don't pay much but I like their food and I am going to be in the area where one of them is located in a week or so. I figured I might give it a try. Are they pretty easy? Just trying to figure out if I should wait and see if it gets bonused.

These are the easiest shops ever, even easier than this MSC's other fast food restaurants, especially if you get a drive-thru. I have never seen one bonused, but then, there are a lot of shoppers and not many bonuses in my area. They require one quick photo of your food, including drink. The one warning: they want all items in the photo, so if you have to wait for an item, be sure to wait to take the photo.

Wait for the bonus unless you want to experiment on one to see if you want to do another. Read the question about what to order carefully. The rest is simple and the form is quick to fill out. There is a photo requirement. In my area, these are rarely bonused. The reimbursement does not quite cover the meal and a beverage.

Shopping SoCal and Maui.
Thanks for the insight! I accepted two of them that are pretty close to home and I have shops in those areas on those dates. I happy when I don't have to cook every single day of the week!
I've done them. They never get bonused in my area, and they can go pretty quick. I don't go there often but I've never had a bad meal there.

I agree. Same for the El Pollo shops ... sometimes it is nice to get a free "healthy" meal with a quick/easy eval. It doesn't pay much but I do get the occasional bonus. I do a pizza place that takes about an hour to write the report and the timing is stressful. We like the pizza so I do it every couple of months. Shops that have easy reports win a few points with me.

Pay attention to the meal period. Most of the Pandas now have a required time to shop and it is shown in rather small print.
Thanks for that tip. I will keep that in mind for future shops. The ones I am doing state: SHOP TIMES: Open - Close (typically 11am - 8:30pm).
Most of the Eat-In shops seem to have time periods, 11-2, 5-8, 8-close. Most of the drive-thru shops are open-close.
I own stock in El Pollo but they don't have restaurants up here in the NE so I never have eaten there...yet. Next time I go see my brother in Houston I will make a point of going, though.
When they/If they ask you "For here or to go?" be sure to say that you are eating here but want it in a to go plate in case you don't eat it all. They give more food in a to go plate and there is enough for two meals, usually. No coupons! sad smiley
Oh, drive-through is very easy, relatively speaking. Have you done the Arby's drive through? Just like that except the timing is a little different!
I don't mind drive-thru, I do the Inn@Out monthly and have done Tommy's.

Yeah, I don't like Arby's that much. I also like drive-thru shops just fine, I was just saying crud in response to you letting me know that the portions are smaller.

Drive through will use the little to-go box and they hold more than a “dine-in” plate smiling smiley

I have had great experiences with their food! I’ve been trying to eat healthier, so I typically do their mixed veggies for the side, and then broccoli beef & mushroom chicken for the entrees. Tastes great and makes for a solid, filling, 400 calorie meal!
Oh okay I get it now, completely misread spicy's post earlier. I guess I was a little distracted. I like orange chicken and I love egg rolls, though I know that's not the healthiest choice, LOL. Thanks everyone!
Just read through the requirements several times. Make sure you get any required pictures, before you eat anything. Make sure you ask anything they require.

The ones in my area are for placing the order online or via the app. I haven't seen that scenario before. I will read ther guidelines multiple times to make sure I don't flub anything up.

The dine ins require lots of extra observations.

I am not a fan.

I just ate at El Pollo Loco yesterday and not a shop. I have not been there in a few years even tho there is one 5 blocks from my house. I think the food has gone downhill. The avocado salsa was my fave but now it really does not taste anything like avocado salsa. There were about three small pieces of chicken on the tostada and even the hottest hot sauce was not hot. The pico de gallo was not made with fresh ingredients and the mild salsa tasted like canned crushed tomato with nothing added. The lettuce on my tostada was head lettuce I think. On the other hand they send out coupons galore so many things are half priced.
Irene the company that used to do it is the one almost everyone is signed up with. Not sure they still do it but i think so.
The fee in my area is $4 plus reimbursement. Back in November I got a make an offer, they accepted my $15 offer. That was my first and only bonus far. Prior to that, I did one last February for base fee.

Someone in my area snatches them up as I've only seen them listed a few times, are they quarterly shops?
I used to eat there often on my own, and they closed that one near me. I was in mourning, so actually haven't eaten there in months. Dissapointed to hear it's gone downhill. I always loved their tortilla salad, never got anything else.

Griff, did you try everything on the menu? Apparently some people think the food is good and they keep opening new restaurants, so maybe it was just the location(s) you visited and certain menu items. Or your tastebuds are just different than others.

When I shop El Pollo Loco, I get the two piece Leg and Thigh meal. I ask for it "juicy" which is sort of a secret menu way of ordering it not well done. I know chicken should be thoroughly cooked, but if I don't order it juicy, it usually is too dry and inedible. Sometimes the chicken portion size is extremely small but recently is has been ok. They must be using bigger chickens now. I like most of their sides, particularly the mac and cheese, corn and salad.
