Not much posted in my area - just a mid-day and only one per location.

I also like doing them. I just completed my shop and it was bad

I'm curious why they are being phased out I've only had one bad shop out of the handful of shops I've done but based on this board..that is uniqie to me
..per this boards experience it seems like it is most often bad not good service

Ah, that's sad to hear, Isaiah. One of my entrees was just okay and the other was great. It really is weird how the quality varies from location to location. The other locations I do these same items are always really good.

The MSC replied. The Rose arm is continuing, but the Apple arm has ended. Look on your shop log to see which one you are in.
JAS, in the part of the report that the client doesn't see, I asked if the project is ending. Hopefully, they will respond.

I had to go in for my food. When I went in, it was sitting on the bar, and it was wrong. They could have kept it in the back under a heat lamp.
I thought a pupose of a car side shop is for them to bring it to you (Like they do at Sonic).

I didn't get a shop this month. I asked and was told there were only mid-day shops this month and one per location. Hopefully, the shops continue.

Yes I did give them plenty of time for them to come out
I just saw an article that said they are closing 60-80 restaurants in the next year, so I guess it makes sense that they are cutting back.

I thought that starting this month, we can't self-assign shops for a while, not enough shoppers were getting chances to do one. Too bad. I can always count on the ribs. on the 2 for 25. And the leftovers reheat so well.

Isaiah, one location I do is in a strip mall with heavy traffic. They never come out to your car. They don't tell you this until after you order.

The one walking distance to my house is in the Apple group. The one I did on Sunday was 16 minutes away driving. I had to drive home smelling those ribs.

My shop log says Rose. Hopefully, they will continue even if they are limiting the number of assignments each month.
Just enjoyed my yearly free meal at Applebee’s on Veterans Day. The best part, I have no report to complete.
We went to Applebee's for the Veteran's Day deal as well. The food was good, but the service was terrible. I wish the ones around here were shopped again. The only ones I see in NJ are in South Jersey. I used to do them often back in the day, but then I think the age limit was lowered. I love the appetizer sampler. The Crispy Chicken salad is also very good, but last night the lettuce was brown..wish it was a shop.

What MSC is in charge if Applebee's assignments? I only did one so fart but it was not for lunch or dinner. It was more like a bar compliance shop. I have an Applebee's close to me and would like to apply for an assignment if anything comes up.

Sorry, but it's against the ICA and the rules of this forum for us to reveal that information.
Phasing out the car side shops is good news/bad news. I loved doing them and never took one for less than a $25 fee. But at my Applebees, they only have dinner shops and I don't drive at night so until daylight savings comes around again, it's not on my list. Sigh. I love their food. If they are not going to have the shops, then at least I won't be missing out.
