Coffee purchase shop question

I just seen a shop where you go into a warehouse club and buy lots of bags of coffee. The mystery shopping company will reimburse within 10 days....it was on an app...I do love coffee but whats the angle, why do they need so much purchased. Just a little skeptical.

I am trying to be vague so not to violate any forum rules. The job is on an app. You are to go into the warehouse club and buy a specified number of bags of coffee. It says up to 300.00 and you will be reimbursed and paid a small fee. Its a legitimate company but why so many bags of coffee. Has anyone conpleted one.

Why, you ask? ?????? You are testing recipes which include coffee as an ingredient, such as mocha smoothies? You are making gift baskets for coffee lovers, and you will use this coffee along with other treats? You are supplying the coffee for a large group event which lasts several days? ?????

since you haven't named the warehouse or coffee you can say the MSC. That would help us tell you if this is probably a legitimate job or scam.
Lots of reasons why a person would buy that amount of coffee - stocking your business break room, for a church, a shelter, a 5k race/walk, maybe you run an AA group. Are you asking what the test could possibly be? Maybe they want to see if the checkout person will offer you a coupon because there's a promotion that month, or they want to know the sell-by dates on all of the coffee for quailty control. Maybe the store wants to gauge whether someone offers to help you to your car and they want everyone to buy the same thing.
Something doesn't sound right to me. You have to pay up to $300.00 for coffee out of your own pocket? You will be reimbursed for all of the coffee? Do you have to return the coffee?

It's also via the web. Completed it. Extremely easy. Very professional team - legitimate company. I currently have 40 pounds of whole bean Guatamalan coffee - my home smells like coffee. I don't even drink coffee.

Hi,
I picked this up by mistake, forgetting the membership requirements to purchase. A legit MSP I have worked for before, I reviewed the guidelines, realized my error, canceled and emailed the contact. I think, just my guess since I have done this kind of task for others, it is part of a buyback to generate buzz. Different scenarios for quantity purchase, but you use, post, share with friends, who if they post, increase your odds for a drawing. Simple. And there are many ways to experience the bean. Think a chipotle coffee rub to flank steak on a low and slow BBQ...mmm. A from-scratch devil's food cake or cupcakes for a richer flavor from the addition of liquid coffee. Get an empty squeeze bottle and fill it with a seedless raspberry spread, with fresh raspberries on top...double mmm. Then make fresh coffee. I have never done my own mole.....
I hope I have not violated any forum rules with this much disclosure, more of a passive participant than poster. Apologies to the moderator if this was the case and noted for the future if this was so.
OMG. That sounds awesome.

I have 40 lbs. In my car right now from doing the shop today. Unfortunately the coffee is packed in 2 lbs sacks not one pound.

Part of the guidelines is you can't return the coffee. You even have to block out the UPC code and include a picture in the report of the UPC codes.
Can you tell us the MSC (since you haven't named the coffee company)?

The objective is to allow you to be a Brand Ambassador, really just a Brand Champion, by providing a free bag to people or organizations that are or are not your in-crowd. In exchange, the receiver of the free bag of coffee provides a survey feedback to the provide survey site. For each survey, including your own, you receive an entry for a grand prize drawing. If you were to keep all of the coffee for yourself, I would think the chances of future work with this company would be seriously curtailed. I've done a few and all the $ has been reimbursed shortly after the shop. I've given away 95% of the required purchase so far.
I will put my name on the list for coffee along with LisaSTL and the others who liked her post. It is okay with me if you open a 2 lb bag and take a few ounces out first to do a mailing job or if I am in your zone 5 you can probably ship a 2 lb bag. Just pm us to get our info...I am not speaking for Lisa etc. but I would not mind doing a survey.
The look I had when I walked up to the cashier to check out lol. I love it. Coffee’s great with grinding my own beans and pouring my own water for a fresh drip of coffee every morning... likely for the next 2-3 years, with this quantity of coffee beans.

I picked it without mistake.I knew i need to buy coffee for my family. I checked that brand online with Amazon prior to shop. Even that is whole bean I was willing to do so. I do not have a membership with such warehouse but I got permission from scheduler to do that shop with one day pass (I picked by myself the 10% convenience fee, which was partially covered by shop fee). The shop was very easy to do. I got reimbursement for bags (I got 15 2 lbs bag per my shops scenario). NOW I have 1/2 year supply of coffee for my family.

I did this yesterday and the guidelines say you have to be a member, not just have a one-day pass.

There's a seller on eBay selling 3 2 lb packages for $37.99 and on Amazon it's $14.89. I didn't know the brand before I did this shop and I don't think I know 40 people to give it away to so I will be sending it with my next USPS shops.

If you need an address in the Colorado area (801xx), feel free to send a bag of coffee over to me.

I accepted a coffee purchase job last month. I went to the store and found out the location did not have the product - even though the website claimed it did! Two employees confirmed it before I left the store. Needless to say, I was totally bummed!
What is going on here? Several people praising this job, yet none have provided any information about how to find it. Even after being asked. Even though giving the name of the MSC would not be violating guidelines. I’m reading this thread, and all I can think of is there’s a scam going on here.

It isn’t a scam and is a project with a legitimate MSC... Go find the project yourself. Meanwhile, I’m currently hand grinding 10 g of coffee beans for a fresh cup of coffee this morning! smiling smiley

Heyyyyyyyyyyy, I've been unsuspended! Alleluia. It's amazing how you can be muzzled for being helpful even though you are being helpful by scolding someone who is being a jerk to someone else. No more sticking up for peeps on this forum!
Thanks. Except it’s not on ISS. Or maybe it’s just not available on the West Coast? Or it’s a company I’m not signed up with, even though I’m signed up with every available MSC in ISS? Why the secrecy? Client hasn’t been mentioned. No rules broken by naming the MSC. How about someone just send me a PM so I can check out this amazing opportunity?
Go to Mystery Shopper Services, sign up and then you will have their number and call her. Her name is LuzMaria. I'd PM her number except I need to find out if that is breaking the rules here or not.

The coffee, it is in bean form, tastes pretty much like Folgers. They are Arabic beans, however there is a very high note. I tried to roast them further, in my popcorn popper, to rid them of that note to no avail. I Brand Ambassador'ed all those puppies away in front of the Big Box store, having provided each person with a sheet about how to do the survey.

I'm sure the locations are limited throughout the country.... For what it's worth, my location was out in a much smaller city.
