Anyone else agree the Arby's LTO this month is weak?

I signed up for two of the latest Arby's shops at the posted shop rate, at locations convenient to my FTJ for lunch. Gotta say, I tried both sandwiches and was disappointed with both. The Texas brisket had hardly any crispy onion strings on it, and very little brisket, and the Cuban had like two thin slices of ham plus the 1/8" thick pork loin. Sure didn't look like the promo photos. They say "We have the meats", well they still got them, cuz they weren't on my sandwiches. I usually look forward to the Arby's shops, but this was bad. Even with the reimbursement, I felt like I wasted my lunch hour. I wish there were more ways to critique the sandwich on the report besides just photos. Because it was "made" properly, I suppose. Yes, all the ingredients were included. Just had to give poor ratings at the end of the report as to would I return or recommend. Oh well. Hopefully it will be better next month. Anyone else having poor experiences with this round of shops?

I actually liked the Cuban. The one I had was made well, with plenty of meat. Of course, it wasn't as good as the "authentic" Cubans I've eaten in the past, but I thought it was a worthy fast food attempt. I may grab another shop next week to get another one.
You know, these locations vary sooooo much. I had one horrible, one "ok" and one DELICIOSO. I always get The Miami Cuban. Its been my favorite LTO ever! Maybe it will be better next time.

I haven't done an Arby's in ages. There have been none in my area in a long time, but some just re-appeared. I do eat there regularly, though, since there's one about 3 minutes from my house! Last time I had the brisket, it was very good. I just had a Cuban the other night, and there was a lot of meat in it. It was delicious, but I had an allergic reaction to the stone-ground mustard!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
My vote goes to the Cuban. I really like it. The TX Brisket was okay, but I probably wouldn't pick it again.
Sounds like I just happened to get a couple of bad sammys. Usually Arby's is really good. I still wish there was a way on the report to criticize or praise the sandwich more. I know I'm probably asking for "narrative", but the current report doesn't seem to help the franchisees with quality standards. Maybe the photo is enough.

My take on this is that they don’t care what shoppers think about the sandwich itself. Their focus seems to be mainly about how quickly the food gets to the customer, how consistent the sandwiches look, etc.

Do you need to take a picture of the promotional ad? When answering the pre assignment questions, I had to acknowledge that I needed this picture. However, it is not specified in the guidelines.
I just did an Arby's and it was for their Gyro sandwich and salad. I had it with turkey and while it was tasty, it was definitely lacking meat. I also have taken the front window photos (just in case!) and have never been asked for them.
Here 'Ya Go,

Problem Type: Question About Paperwork
Hi,

MY QUESTION: The screening questions state the need for me to take pictures of the LTO signage on the building - but the actual guidelines do not ask for pictures of the signage (dine in). The guidelines tell me to take a picture of my entree but do not mention the LTO signage.
Which is incorrect: the screening questions that tell me I have to take a picture of the signage? - or the guidelines?

Thank you,

THEIR ANSWER: Thanks for letting us know. This used to be a requirement, and it looks like the screening questions were not updated. I have forwarded this on to the Account Manager for correction. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Have a great day!

I have not had to take a picture of the signage for months. Although it says it in the field questions, it does not say it on the actual report. winking smiley Just the LTO sandwich.
I haven't seen an Arby's shop for a year and a half. And I love Cubans. I'm jealous right now.

Just imagine the succulent warm sandwich, melting in your mouth! smiling smiley
I did not do any of them this month and they are not showing on the board for next month yet.

I just completed the bourbon bbq sandwich shop this month. My location had all 3 sandwiches, but only the chicken one was priced as a combo below the maximum reimbursement. A little annoying in my opinion since you have the option to choose any 3
I live right by an Arby's. Any hints as to MSC? Keep in mind I don't shop a lot so I don't know all the rumors and in-jokes.
If you read your ICA you know hints and info is confidential.

I know they are, but I snag the shops anyways for the low price otherwise I never see them again! They are the most popular fast food shop in this area. At least I get a free meal and the report is ridiculously easy.

I did one in my area. I got the Steak one and it cost 7-cents OVER the max reimbursement. I can live with that. Thought the sandwich was pretty good although dry and lacking flavor until you put some Arby's Sauce on it. I was just glad it didn't have any Mayo in it. Mayo has no business being on a sandwich and when I do Arby's and the sandwich has Mayo on it I have to scrape it off after I take the picture. Mayo was invented by Satan - I am convinced of that
