How can Papa Jonh's identify me?

While on vacation, I ran into someone who used to work for Papa Johns. Since he had no idea who I was, I chatted with him about their mystery shopping program. He confirmed it was a "challenge" to identify the mystery shopper. Their hope was to out the shopper and then there would not be another shopper in the area to shop them. Years ago I was outed by one location and I saw that shop sit on the board with no one taking it so it is a strategy that can work.

That's nice of them. I can't imagine that hitting the 10 things they want you to do could be so difficult that you would want to spend time outting the shopper. I guess it makes for a fun game.
I still don't understand PJ's need to toss out shoppers so easily. I was outted and few years back and the wait to get back in was 18 months. I am very careful now and do not overshop and use different phone numbers... Makes me wonder if managers get a bonus for outting shoppers.
Use a laundromat for your delivery spot.

It's actually *67 to block a call and it used to be *69 to trace calls from home phone numbers...not sure if that still works.

I can't help it if you don't know good music.

Ok, *67

Remember when you used to be able to call the first three digits of your phone number followed by 1212 to get the exact time. That was Verizon and they discontinued that service a few years ago. Now, to call my neighbor I have to dial the area code.
I have often felt that many scenarios make it so that you are identified by following them. And, if you report on something strange that happened, they know who you are. I am banned from a local restaurant for two years. I completed a shop with my husband and the waiter was terrible. I reported it. The next week they were still begging for people so I had my sister sign up. I went with her as her guest and she got a 10 on her report. The next time she tried to apply, they denied her. She kept applying for others and getting denied. Finally she called them on it and they said, "You and the lady you were with have been identified as shoppers and are not allowed to shop any more." I think it's pretty crappy that I got identified on HER shop. They still beg for people every month and sometimes even call me or text me. When I say, "ok" she writes back, "Oh, sorry. Can't assign to you." Had we not pestered them, I would not have known I was outed. My job board just says, "not available" when I try to sign up.

It almost seems like if they put that mich energy into meeting the standards, they wouldnt need to worry!
I wonder how they "identify" the shopper. Are they asked, on a rebuttal form to the report or something, if they know who the shopper is? My motto is that if I am going to report something wrong, gross or out of the ordinary, I don't report it while on the shop. Don't identify yourself as a shopper, as best you can.

For all clients, not just this one
I just did one of these last week on bonus. So, I should just order the simplest pizza? Maybe they can tell from the photos? I didn't have a pepper in mine.

I thought I read in the description of the shop recently that it can't be delivered to a public place, only a home or business. Of course, now I can't find that, but I remember reading it recently.

I haven't done a Papa John's shop since one of their main MSC's closed up due to an owner passing. But I remember they had a certain delivery shop that was difficult to assign, out of my home/work delivery area in a shady part of town, and the schedulers would always call and beg me to take it. I told him I was out of delivery area. He suggested I could have it delivered to a nearby park, etc. I explained that this was an area of town that I would feel unsafe sitting around in a park alone, as a female, regardless of day/time.
