Daylight Savings Time and Receipt Times

Check the times on your receipts starting today. I often find that locations do not change their times to DST on receipts. It’s a good idea to note this in your report to prevent rejections. This should be done all year long on all shops but it’s particularly important with the time change.

I am bumping this up so that it may be seen by more shoppers as the new week opens.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
For me, I've always noticed that it is the quarterly and small time GS owners shops that have receipt times issues. The large chains are computerized enough to have their receipts automatically DST corrected.
Well, I have had such discrepancies at major banks, large chain quick service places (especially in airports), major hotel chains (especially in their F&B outlets, where this raises cash integrity issues), and many, many others over the past 13 years of MS. If the shopper catches it and reports it in the survey it is almost always okay; if not, questions will fly!
