Trailer Checks

It seems the other company that scheduled trailers checks for every screen/auditorium is now doing them by print. So, less money to be made. I don't know about other checkers, but my main theater has 24 screens and features (especially the popular ones) are split across 75% of the screens. Trying to get print info from management when it is busy won't be easy.

I looked at the supposed new guidelines this week or maybe just a clarification of guidelines. My understanding has always been if a print is on two different screens, we check both screens. So you may check more than just the number of prints. Do you concur?
The guidelines have changed. They just want us to check each print. Only the management knows how many prints they receive of each film, and the trailer packs are different. One print may be shown on 3 screens, a second print on two screens. It depends on how many screens the theater has. So, where you would be paid for 5 screens, you will now be paid for two prints.
Makes no sense....the whole point of trailer checks is to gauge audience reactions during every separate auditorium showing...or in some cases to determine which version trailer is being shown... don't understand what Certified is doing here...even if the same print is interlocked and used in two auditoriums, they still may not show all of the trailers. For $7.00 it does not pay to do these anymore, unless your theater let's you watch the movie...
