I think a lot of the clients actually do take note of our comments, especially a certain gas station. I have always been able to award gift certificates on a revealed audit.
However, I have done several "Lazy" Furniture shops, and in every single one, the staff members were rude, pretty well ignored me, and had to be asked for help.
I pride myself on being believable, and always dress for the occasion. So I did not look at all like a penniless drifter. One sales person looked up from the book she was reading, said hello, then started reading again. Another one kept telling me to just look around, and left me three times during my visit. Another one actually pointed towards the sofas, and said, "They're over there".
Nothing has changed, so I have stopped doing those shops. They don't pay enough for me to be treated so rudely, and apparently the management could not care less about my comments.
