Easy. Download the GeoVerify app from the App Store. You open the app and tap “GeoVerify this location!” Then you get a code. That code is what the MSC uses to verify your location, including time and date. It’s very easy once you see the app.
I'd like to know what the best app you have used to have the time and geo-location stamped on it.
I am not sure that the OP is talking about Geoverify, OP are you needing this for shops using the Sassie Platform?
You're looking for the metadata, just click on the italic i and that will show all of the metadata for the pic.
With Andoid phones you need to turn on the location setting for it to show up in the "details" (metadata) of the pictures.
I have an Android. After the last update, my photos are no longer time, date and location stamped, even though my location is on. Under "Info" it just said to "Turn location on."

I have an old Alcatel OneTouch. I opened the camera, then went to settings and the first thing listed is "Store Location". I turned this on as well as the location in the phone settings. Now when I take a picture, the details show "Location:" including the state, county, city street and latitude and longitude.

There is even a "Show On Map" option and it maps it in Google Maps.

I believe this is the metadata they are looking for. I haven't had any shops requiring date and location rejected since I turned this on.

I have an iPhone. I downloaded from the App Store an app called "Auto Stamper." I paid $2.99 for it. The icon is a red camera with a white lens which has little clock arms. You can set it up to date, time and/or GPS stamp your photos on demand. Very simple to use. One time I had a question and sent a message to the creator. I received a quick reply. I highly recommend this app. I used it twice today. Just remember, you must open the app and take your pictures from inside the app in order for the stamps to appear on the pics.
Honny, have you gone into your camera settings to make sure "Location Tags" is turned on? Scroll down if you don't see it.

Is there a place in settings for an iphone for the date and time?
When I click on a pocture I have taken in One Drive, i see a date and time but do not know if it transfers to the MSC when I upload it.
I believe that info is embedded. Maybe email it to yourself and see if the info is available when you open it? You should see it under "properties " I think.

Yep. Location is on, location tags are on, reboot is done. They still aren't showing up in the pic.

Weird. Mine is an S8. I don't know what you have or if that would make a difference.
I have an S6 Edge. It's probably Verizon's way of giving me a hint to get a new phone.

Honny, when I go into my settings and then to location, my camera is listed below the location on/off button with a check box. So up at the top I have location turned on, but I also have the camera check box selected. I have an LG. Maybe Samsung is set up different?
I just checked, JAS, thanks. My camera isn't listed under location. Location tags are listed under camera.

I need a new phone too. I am eyeing those AT&T shops that have the phone purchase scenario...there is one right now that reimburses $100 and the pay has gone up to $70. Waiting for it to hit $100 or higher and I will take it.
I have an android. I use an app: Open Camera. It puts the date and time on the pictures. So far the app is pretty reliable.

On the last update that was done to my Android phone to rename or crop the pixs, I have to close the camera app and go to Gallery so I can crop the picture and then rename it. It really ticks me off that they have done that.
Which device do you have? The process changed a little on my Galaxy s8, but I can still rename and crop from within the camera app.

Move the picture to the computer. Then right-click on the file name and go to properties then details scroll down to GPS and it will have Latitude, Longitude, and Altitude. I can no longer rename and crop in the camera app I have to go to the gallery to do that more steps to do something that wasn't broke, to begin with.
