I had food poisoning in January and had to cancel a few shops. I did feel guilty but there was nothing that I could do except puke for 12 hours.

I had to cancel an eyeglass assignment at the last minute. My cat was very sick and I had to rush him to a specialist. I ended up having to put him to sleep 2 days later due to heart failure (sob!). I pride myself on my work, but sometimes things happen that must take priority.

Wait till you have one of your Thyroid glands removed. Then see what it is like when a week after you still fell good but shouldn't be out because it is nowhere near Halloween and you scare all of the kids in the grocery store. You realized that the thyroid controls your get up and go and the other one hasn't taken over yet. And it is really hard to just go get some coffee in the morning, or get out of bed and go to the couch because your get up and go has been replaced with I'm really tired and why I do not care right now. Luckily everyone that I talked to understood as long as I explained it to them. So yea I made a whopping $101.00 for April due to having to reschedule because of surgery or recovery and that is something that they should have told me about. you will feel good for a week to ten days and then it will all just be so tiring and exhausting that you will not even care about anything. My quad bypass two years ago did not make me that tired or feel like I did not care.
I will usually go to McDonald's if my internet is down (which thankfully only happened 2 times in the last 4 years. )@SassyShoppin wrote:
I had to cancel one due to my internet service provider broke something and my internet was out. I had teams of them all over my house for hours trying to find the cause as my online shop was due! I felt so awful! I was panicked and almost in tears! It was beyond my control but I still felt so bad.
I SO feel for you!! I had a cat that I had to put down a few years ago. The worst part was when I realized he had gone deaf....and I hadn't even realized it!! He was old and kept to himself, and would just sit out on the back deck in the sun most days, and then come in at evening time. When I realized he had gone deaf, I grabbed him in my arms, sat on the floor, and bawled like a baby....loud and long!!! It wasn't long after that we had to have him put down. Your post reminded me of that time, so my heart understands your loss.@DareWright wrote:
