Presto InstaShops

Earlier this afternoon, I attempted to do my first Android Pay InstaShop. I drove to the location and checked in via the app. I selected my items to purchase, stood in line for over 10 minutes, got to the register only to be informed this store doesn't offer any of the smartphone pay options. There were no signs on the terminal, counter or doors indicating they were offered either.

When I got back in my car, I found there was no option in the survey to indicate a negative outcome and no links or directions to get support.

I cancelled the shop and went home. Is there another way I could have handled this? How and who do I notify to take this shop off the available list so somebody else doesn't go through the same bother I did?

Thanks!

I have Samsung Pay. My dry cleaner (independent business, not shopped) said they didn't accept that kind of payment. I tried it, and it went through.

Hi there - Sorry you had trouble doing your InstaShop.

From the map, if you click the white "hamburger" menu (it looks like three horizontal lines), you can click "Help" and it will take you to our support system. From there you can open a new ticket, which will connect you directly with Presto support.

Regarding the fact that the store did not accept Android Pay, the survey does provide a place to indicate if the cashier said it's not accepted, and whether you did the transaction or not. Those questions appear once you've filled in the other questions about what credit card you used with the app.
So you're saying all she had to do was pay for her items using a credit card, then she (or he, I mean) could have completed the report? Shouldn't the guidelines explain what happens if the business doesn't accept Android Pay? Or should she have tried to use the Android Pay anyway, like the person who used it at the dry cleaner's?
When i did one of those shops, the instructions explicitly said not to complete the transaction if the store didn't accept Android Pay. Now, that was about a month ago so the instructions may have changed, but I believe she could've either tried anyway or just left the store, but either way the form provides a way to complete the shop in both of those scenarios.
That is more of a case of try it, and if it doesn't work we will have a way to fix it, but you must try it and then fiddle around in the app. I had done the same for Market survey the other week. After you get started and talk to the manager, you are supposed to have a pix of the store to show that you are at the right address. You have to stop and go out front and take a picture of the store. Then take a picture of stock in the back room. But they do not carry stock in the back room anymore stopped doing that several years back when they went to just in time delivery.
For those that have Samsung pay install on their phones. Make sure you disable or uninstall it before attempting an Android Pay shop. After attempting 5 shops a scheduler pointed the problem out to me. I have had no issues after uninstalling Samsung Pay.
