I actually much prefer Windows phones (for a variety of reasons) but Verizon isn't carrying one anymore. The have had 3 Samsung phones and will never ever purchase another one as all 3 have been big pieces of s***. The last time I upgraded I went with the Pixel 2 XL and it's the best non-Windows phone phone I've ever owned. It's *almost* as good. I like it a lot.
I loved my LG Windows phone with the slide-out keyboard, and was disappointed that I couldn't upgrade to a more modern one. Does anyone even make a Windows phone anymore? I had a cheap Samsung Galaxy and liked it, and have a Moto G4 Play now. Very inexpensive, but takes great photos and does everything I need it to do. I'm not sure why I'd spend hundreds of dollars to get a phone that doesn't do much more than the one I have now. I find the bells and whistles pretty much unnecessary for my needs, but even if I needed them, my phone has a whole lot of them. Which I don't use, either.
I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
