Best Phone Scanner APP?

Can anyone recommend a good scanner app, I prefer using a scanner app for documents over using the camera on my phone?

I use TurboScan but there were several recommended to me when I purchased it. I just picked one and it happened to be TurboScan.
I have never understood using a scanning app unless it has something to do with saving as a PDF. While I have seen many a guideline insisting uploads are JPG, I can only think of one or two requiring PDF.

Needing a targeted, aligned and focused shot of a document. When I have used a scanner app it allowed me to get an accurate and clear document. Maybe I need to learn how to use my camera better for documents?
I use the camera on my phone for everything from audits to pics of receipts, business cards and documents.

I use the camera on my iPhone for shops and CAM SCANNER (free app) for work stuff...
Pretty much any smartphone made in the last decade will take a high-quality picture of any document that’s less than three feet from the camera. At least, high enough quality for mystery shopping. The biggest issues would be holding the camera still and reducing glare. A scanner app may have additional markup features, but it uses the same camera.
Some scanners apps may be easier to use than a normal camera for those who are differently abled? I imagine it will be even more difficult to quickly take quality photos of docs if my hand tremors get worse/more frequent and I'm sure there are many who are older or have dexterity issues who have the same problem. I haven't used many scanner apps though so it's just a thought..
Camscanner is the app that I use for getting PDF files then you can convert them when you send them somewhere.
A bit off from the original question, but does anyone use a scanner device? I've been looking at a couple models out there and was wondering if anyone has used a device that they would recommend. I also plan to use it for scanning other things related to my taxes.
I received a CaptureIt in the mail a few weeks ago! I got it when I bought a mystery tech box for a few bucks last month. So far it has just been sitting on my desk by the charging station seems like it is more trouble than it is worth.
