Anyone get any suspicious e-mails from scheduling companies or MSCs recently?

I got two e-mails this morning, purportedly from ISS and ISC. The one from ISS had my correct shopper I.D. number, but the rest of the e-mail seemed very sketch, with a link in the body to [part.bryanjones.us]

Needless to say, I didn't click on it. Could ISS have been hacked? My e-mail has been hacked in the past, but there are no e-mails from ISS in any of the boxes.

The one from ISC was actually a supposed return of an undeliverable e-mail, which I had never sent to begin. It was from a Shannon Kiss (s.kiss@internationalservicecheck.com), but that name isn't one I've ever heard, and the extension on the e-mail address isn't what they use.

How is it that scammers can get our information with respect to mystery shopping? Do they hack the MSC databases, our own computers or phones? It's unnerviing.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.

Actually, the ISC extension on the email is correct. But I have never heard of a Shannon Kiss. Maybe email Donna Yarborough and ask her. D.Yarbrough@internationalservicecheck.com

I would be completely wigged out if someone was able to hack into the MSC's platform (ISS) and get your shopper ID. And the link in the body sounds very suspicious indeed.

Yes; you're right. I thought it was wrong because the most recent e-mail I got from them had an extension of ".info." I didn't look at my other e-mails, but now that I have, I see the .com ending. The other looks like an alternate e-mail addy.

Anyway, I've worked for them for years and have never heard of a Shannon Kiss, either. I should e-mail somebody there and give them a heads-up.

Give them a heads about what? That they have some new employees?

I guess you didn't read the entire situation. My primary reason for suspicion is that I received a "bounced-back" e-mail that I had supposedly sent to this person. Which I hadn't. That seems a bit strange to me. As did the entire look and wording of the e-mail.

On doing further checking, I see that at one time ISC had a Shannon Kiss there, but I personally haven't gotten any e-mails from her in more than two years. I had forgotten the name. But I still haven't sent her any e-mails, so there is no reason why I should have gotten a notice that my e-mail to her had bounced. Also, this e-mail came the same day as the one supposedly from ISS -- which is definitely suspicious. I'd be an idiot to not question the other one, too.

Donna's been with them for at least as long as I've been shopping for them (more than 4 years) and probably a lot longer. I've only recently seen e-mails from Walter, though.

Angelbug, you mean ISC. And yes, I have gotten a lot from them too. But Donna has been with them for quite awhile.
Look in the body of the email from ISC. Doe it give the date and time the original email was supposedly sent?
Thanks for clarifying birdyc

Poor walter i couldnt help but feel bad for him on his last one, was wondering if he knew about posting jobs here

I should have done that, but didn't. And then I deleted it. If it happens again, I'll definitely check that. Thank you.
