BJ's doesn't do Lobster or parmesan rolls....Olive Garden is shopped, but since I don't care for that restaurant, I don't know who does it....try a couple big MSC's, in other words, do your homework.

That's only shellfish like oysters and clams. I grew up on the Gulf of Mexico. Lobster is fine any time of year. I used to go scuba diving for them.

What the? If you've ever spent any time living in New England you'll know that our seafood is edible all year.

The Northern Atlantic has colder water. Shellfish like oysters in warmer waters off the coast of Florida have a much higher bacteria count in spring and summer.

I know someone who knows the answer. It's someone who posted in this thread. Of course they aren't going to divulge the info...and I don't know the answer about which MSC it is. I just know the name of the restaurant, and it's not one in my area.

Meanwhile, I made a lobster and shrimp pasta last night...yum.

yea, I saw who does that seafood restaurant but that was a while ago. Perhaps that MSC does not have them as a client anymore?

There are Facebook groups for shoppers that are collaborative with this kind of info - my suggestion is to sign up. They have their own rules of course, but this kind of info is usually shared easily - the folks in those groups seem to believe there's more than enough work for all of us....appear to believe they have more to gain than lose by sharing.

Is it not fairly common on here as well? It seems our contracts should prevent us from discussing the nature of the assignments/requirements/the questions we answer on reports ETC in many cases, yet these are commonly talked about. What's the rub? Why is it that just because we don't name the client and MSC together that these discussions aren't viewed as wrong?

There are probably many posts that push the envelope if not completely violating the terms of the contract. I've called out a number of them myself. However, a bright line is naming clients and MSCs in the same thread.

I get that it looks bad to a newer member when a thread like this goes off the rails. Without knowing the history this can look over the top to the casual observer. SOP is to educate the first time someone asks the question. This OP in particular has not only asked similar questions, she has complained loudly how we aren't helpful enough by not providing client lists. IMO, most of us are way too helpful already.

Doubt it. Only a few are here to help others. The rest are here for self-aggrandizement and putting others down. Notice the one who mentions a restaurant specifically so nobody can post the MSC. He won't help, nor will he allow anyone else.

Wow. Just wow. Maybe bgriffin would not have mentioned the name of a restaurant if you hadn't called Irene a curmudgeon or tried to tell others where and when they could post. Sometimes your own actions have consequences so please don't play the innocent victim.
