Doing the same shop over and over-is that ok?

I have been shopping for about six months now and my day job is in a downtown metro area. There are constantly parking garage shops close enough to my job to do one on my lunch break. They rotate between six parking garages. There is no limitation stated in the guidelines of how many or how often I can do them. Is there an unspoken rule about how many I should sign up for? Do I just keep signing up and doing them until the MSC stops approving me? Or am I thinking about it backwards and this shop/MSC is what everyone dreams of? Thanks for advise.

If there is no rule, you may do the same shop thousands of times.
However, most shops have a rotation - only allowing one shop every so often. This is mostly to prevent employees with whom you interact from recognizing you as a shopper. With a parking garage, that may not be a concern. If you are concerned, you can ask the scheduler, of course.

It's impossible to answer a generic question about MSC policies because each are unique companies. There isn't really a set of standards applied to all. It is reasonable the same person would use the same parking garage on a regular basis. Same with shopping at the same grocery or convenience store weekly.

Rather than relying on the MSC to cut you off, use your best judgement to evaluate if your actions are giving you away then create your own rotations. By doing so you are protecting your mystery shopping business.

If it was an issue, there would be a rotation in place.

I do the same FF places over and over. They may suspect but as long as the shop is available and it's good value, I'm in.
Some industries, like fast food, grocery stores, coffee shops and urban parking garages have such frequent return customers that the staff think little of it. Now, hotel doormen are a whole different kettle of fish; they are trained to and make big tips, remembering names and faces and vehicles. So I have a self-imposed rotation for encounters with those folks, of 3 months, at least.

If there's no rotation limitation, go for it!

The in and out parking jobs should not present a problem as long as your msc does not have a rule but if you are doing certain ones where you need to report that you lost your ticket and you pay the max or that your ticket does not work in the machine and they write down your license number you might want to self impose a limit.
My impression is that if a MSC can do a rotation and get a variety of shoppers, they do so. But, in many cases, getting the shop done is more important than a repeat shopper. I see rotations cut often because they just can't get people to do them. Now, I think it is more of a payment size problem. I am assuming you tend to do these shops because they are close by, but not because they have bonuses or pay a particularly good fee.
I do some work with NWLPC. Doug Rector (owner) watches necessary rotations closely. If you are able to self-assign the shops, you are fine. Doug also responds to email well.
