Movie Shops: A Closer Look, anybody done one yet???

Has naybody done one of A Closer Look's movie theater shops???

If so, how is the pay and work required please???

Not for A Closer Look but another MSC. My only recommendation choose a movie you can enjoy. Time is money, popcorn is fattening and $4 water doesn't usually count as a beverage.

I haven't done one for ACL but have for a few other MSPs. Some movie shops are better than others: one paid for a ticket and gave me $15 to spend (I spent it all!),most are popcorn and drink. One only reimburses one ticket and one drink. boo.

I have done the ones for ACL for over 6 months now. It's reimbursement only and pictures are required but all in all I don't mind the shop. We like to go to the movies so it works for us.

How hard is it to get accepted by this company? I have tried and not heard a work back from them.

I don't know how long it has been since you applied, Justme. Perhaps they just have not had shops in your area.

If you have not heard either way - they probably have not gotten to your application yet.

Unless things have changed, there are three outcomes after you apply.

Immediate approval through their auto-system - you get a password and log-in immediately.

Approval through their manual-system. Someone reviews your application and sends you an email with your password and log-in.

Non-approval through their manual-system. Your needs do not match theirs and you get an email thanking you for applying but basically stating that they are not accepting you into their system.

If you have heard nothing - then your app is probably sitting in the review queue.
