My first set was easy. One location on my second set was obviously a front. It was basically a closet with signage in a dank project corner store. It was closed. The store employee said the service is rarely open and the guy comes in whenever he wants but usually doesn't come at all. After two attempts to find it open on the same day, I contacted the scheduler. While waiting for a response I watched lots of drug sale transactions. It was scary and, since I am unknown to the locals in the area and sitting suspiciously in my car, I am quite surprised that I was not shot (very common occurrence) or approached in any way. I had to leave before hearing from the scheduler because I knew by being there at all I was taking unnecessary chances with my life. So, later I get a new location assigned, do my send (which my poor partner has been waiting for) then wait a bit to go to my pickup. I already knew the location would be just as seedy as the first having been to that gas station before. The CSR was polite but told me the money was not there. I double checked the number and asked him to look again. He did. Nope. I went to the car, used the tracking function and saw that the money was available. So why couldn't the CSR find it? Don't know. By this time, I am irritated and hopeless. A street person is standing next to my car looking at me as I look at my phone with window closed. He's talking to me. I ignore him. I finish what I am doing. He waits. I open the car door to get out. He asks for money. Really frustrated with these dangerous locations, sestra snaps! In my meanest, loudest voice I bellow, "Get the f&#$ off my back!!! I HAVE NO F#$%ing PATIENCE FOR YOU TODAY!!!" I get back in my car & leave. I'm done. Sumitted the report as it happened, omitting the parking lot affair, and am waiting to find out where I should go now to pick up. And the first, never-open location is back on the job board which is not fair to the next sucker who wastes their time on it. True story. Maybe a rant.
