Intelli-shop assignments w/ $25 deposit

Why is Intelli-shop asking for a $25 deposit to complete online shops? I got an email saying "Make $80 this week", but the entire shop is going to take 2 weeks to complete. And they want a $25 deposit?

Such a small amount doesn't seem like a red flag. OTOH, not knowing anything about the what the shop entails, it is impossible to even make an educated guess about why the deposit would be required. For all we know Intelli-shop is using the same guidelines for both on site and online shops so the deposit doesn't even apply.

Obviously nobody can tell you because we know nothing about the shop. Did you ask the scheduler?

I shop Intellishop all the time..they have never asked me for 25 dollars deposit nor have I ever seen them do online shops...who is the scheduler on the email? I can reach out to a couple of them that I shop for and see if they are aware of any online shops...also now that I think about it..highest pay Ive seen for a shop for them is about 30 bucks..think a scammer is fishing and claiming they are with Intellishop..but I can still reach out to confirm if you'd like...

Shopping Idaho and Oregon/Idaho border region.
It’s not a scam. It’s for a shop where you post items for sale on various web platforms and record the responses you receive. I don’t know what the deposit is for, but my guess is to try and force shoppers to follow through with completing the shop? No idea.
