They are legit, providing it is the real Signal Auditing. Is your contact named Eric or Steve by chance? If so, you are good to go. My niece is a PI and does a lot of work for them. I tried but could not find successful leads in my area.
There is the potential to make a lot of money, but in my area there are far too many ethical business owners and I was not able to find those who were violating their contracts. Every time I thought I was on to something, they turned out to be on the legal list. Good luck to you!
I gave the opportunity a whirl in 2009, but after three long Sundays and zero results, I knew it was time to fold 'em. In my opinion, success would be the product of having a system of solid leads, as opposed to cold calling; that is where I failed. In addition, not only was I out the gas money, but it required me to miss out on profits from my weekend business. Were the two issues of not earning money on one hand and losing on the other not the case, I would have continued throughout the fall and into winter.

As I am in the process of liquidating my business of 26 years, I intend on pursuing the opportunity to ascertain if, by developing qualified leads, it will be profitable
It works really well for my niece as a PI because she is already out on the road and sees the opportunities, checks them out, and then gets the hits. She investigates workers comp fraud and sometimes sits in neighborhoods were there is a mix of apartments and small retail businesses watching her targets and notices small nail salons and that sort of thing that have the satellite dish on the building, so she will check the legal list and then go check it out. She has made a lot of money that way. She lives on the outskirts of NYC, so there is just a lot of great opportunity there.
