receipt freebie question?

I was just wondering; very recently I've been doing alot of fast food and DQ shops. So what I wanted to know if if there is a freebie on the receipt, are we allowed to take it even though we obtained it from a shop? For example, I shopped DQ this past weekend; on the receipt it states get a free drink on us just fill out a survey in the next 3 days and get a validation code only good at this location in the next 30 days. I know this seems like an odd question, but I didn't want to use it and then have the shop invalidated, thanks..

I have no idea which msc does these shops but almost every, if not every, msc I am signed up with says not to fill out surveys. Take a look at your shop notes for this particular shop as it usually has this statement somewhere in the instructions.

DQ? Wow. I didn't know they were shopped. If this is for the QSR shop, you can use the freebies and do the company's surveys because they aren't shopping the FF, per-se.

I will take a look at the notes. I might have missed it just paying attention to the guidelines for the shop itself and not the receipt portion...and not a qsr one as far as I know

I think it would be fine to use a coupon on a receipt when not shopping. It is the survey thing that might be an issue.

I agree with Sandy. Many MSCs say NOT to take a survey. If not addressed in the guidelines, e-mail the scheduler. Just to be sure, ya know!

Right, almost all MSCs say no to doing any other feedback surveys on a shop. So, I just don't touch those bounceback offers.

You are better off doing the Buy X, Get 1 Free cards.

The sports bar that I shop a few times a month wants diners to do surveys and they get boneless wings as a thank you. I can't do that, so I signed up for their frequent diner program. I've used several rewards to date.

I did a DQ many years ago. It was delicious I had to get a Blizzard and see if they turned it upside down.
