Rag & Bone, an incredible clothing boutique, used to offer a $300 purchase allowance. The report was all of 10 minutes. I seriously miss that one.

I won $500 at a casino shop on pull tabs , with a MSC that let's you keep your earnings.

Pre-credit evaluation that paid $300, no credit checks done. Just did another like it but a little less money. Including the forms you fill out I was in it for about 35 minutes (autofill makes the pre-applications easy).

I got some really nice high end products at the spa last month. They were 75% off, so they were within my reimbursement limit, making them free.
Doing a comparison Casino in Palm Springs awhile back, they fedex'd me $350.00 which I could spend at the slots....lots of fun.

This year, I got my taxes done for an $85 fee. I paid nothing out of pocket because the fee was taken out of my refund, which was reimbursed.

$1500 reimbursement for a 3 night stay at a resort in Florida. I had to eat in their terrific steak house. My wife had to get an awesome massage and I had to play golf at their arnold palmer designed course.

When the crash happened in 2008 we were struggling to make our mortgage and credit card payments since we had charged some College loans. I did a MS at a local bank acting like I was interested in a refi...Well, I was back the next week doing the refi with them! Only cost 299.00 for the refi, which I could afford and they lowered the interest rate we were paying. I ended up refinancing with them again when interest rates dropped again. It only took 6 months to cover the cost/break even and I have been with them since. Sometimes, I feel there is so much knowledge gained by doing these MS.
Not really a mystery shop, but the US Mint used to sell dollar coins over the web with free shipping and no fees. The kicker was they accepted credit cards. There was an AARP credit card that gave 5% cash back on ALL purchases for 6 months. I bought many thousands of dollars of these coins on the credit card, and deposited them all in the bank. Nice profit, and the banks liked it too as they didn't have to order the coins themselves. I read some people took it to extremes and made many thousands with this. Sadly, the gig is up. They only take debit cards now, and it's not free shipping. But at least I don't have to worry about thousands in coins sitting at my door any longer. Luckily none was ever stolen.
Getting stranded in New Orleans due to Hurricane Harvey the other year. Trip was completed paid for with a fees stacked with other airport shops.... That wasn't the sweet part about it.

Used points I received from some signup bonuses from credit cards to pay off for all my hotels in the French Quarters and my favorite part, my Trip Delay insurance for my credit card awarded me $500 to spend on food, lodging, etc.

I ended up using that $500 to eat whatever I wanted at any restaurant, but also stayed at the most expensive hotel in the area, the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans.

That was awesome. I wished my trip was delayed even more, but was very fortunate to have that single day to myself on someone else's dime with 15-30 minutes of work to submit my expenses and work with the credit card company to process my Trip Delay claim.

I usually shop with this one MSC and get reimbursed for around $275 for hotel shops plus a $25 shop fee. Report takes about 2 hours to fill out. This week I scored a hotel shop with them that I'll be conducting in a couple weeks. The hotel room cost $350 a night plus I'll be reimbursed for bar drinks, dinner, room service, and cash tips. So I'm guessing I'll be reimbursed around $650 total.
I have an upcoming one for a casino. I have to purchase something in their boutique. Will get reimbursed $100. I am looking forward to buying a nice blouse and getting reimbursed.

This is true about when one great deal ends a new one pops up but I am still waiting for the Rag and Bone type deal to pop up again. Rag and Bone financed my high end shopping wardrobe! (Not really though as in Los Angeles pretty much anything goes..sometimes the more holes in your clothing the better as long as you don't tell them they were from wear and not because the designer ruined them!)
