Does anyone know what a "Special Study" bank shop is?

I took an assignment for a bank shop that was called a "Special Study." I've shopped this chain of banks several times and have never seen this before. It appears to have exactly the same guidelines and survey as the other ones. The bank locations seem to be shopped once per month, but this location did have a "regular" shop listed, too. I think there was a "special" teller shop for the location, too, as well as the account-inquiry shop I did.

Anyone ever run across this before? Not that it matters in the big scheme of things, but first time in all the years I've been shopping banks that I've seen this. Just wondering if any of you know what that is or why one would be done. I have to say, this turned out to be the best account-inquiry shop I've ever done. The CSR hit every point, plus was warm and engaging. I wanted to open the account by the time I left!

The one that I did for Mintel was literature collection across different banks.

Was this the shop where you go to the specific bank and see if they talk about Merril Edge? smiling smiley
Neither of these was the same as the shop I did. I'm guessing maybe for some reason, they added a second shop this month to that location. I've just never seen that designation for a bank shop before....

No. These were different banks. One bank would talk about Merril Edge.
