Beacon and Patient Point brochure replenishment project

Who else is doing these? Anyone make the call yet? I thought I would wait one or two more days to give them plenty of time to get the materials. I will call on Thursday.

I am, I called already and made the appointment. You should have received tracking in an email on Friday from your scheduler or project manager. So you can see tracking and if/when they receive them.
If not, call your scheduler .
I just got one of these, i took it once they bonused. Do these come up on a regular basis?
Maybe different one or maybe same and just rural areas are bonused--the email where it was accepted said Patient Point (Brochure Replenishment)...sounds the same.
Thought it was different because this one they made it clear it was new, like crazy clear. Too many instructions and emails for me. I wont do them again. Will only complete the ones I have now. The spent money and time to send useless pieces of paper in the mail to me. They should have sent the 2 letters of authorization and the guidelines/ POGs in color instead. tsk
It's a new project and if it goes well I'll take more as they become available. I think the support from the MSC is outstanding. I like all of the instructions. Give me lots of instructions before I go because I read all of it and try to absorb it before I get to the site. I'll also print out the instructions that are contained in the email and have them with me. It's an ongoing project so unless I hate it (which is unlikely) I'm going to be doing them for awhile.
I think you will love it. I did them for other companies before, including the monitor and posters and I adored doing them.
In my area some rural areas are bonused. Not enough to make it worth it to me, but maybe to someone else.

JerseyGirl, I see what you mean now, I just read through everything they sent today...they are crazy clear about them being new! Hoping it works out for everyone!

These sound great. I hope there are some in my area.

Trying to learn from all of these rockstars.
Sorry no. I was very specific about the project name so I can't name the MSC. It's against forum rules.

Can you tell me which MSC?
It's actually NOT a mystery shop, it's a Merchandising assignment. @Rhondabryant, they advertised this assignment on the job board recently so you can find it there. Good luck with that though, one or two companies are placing an ad for each and every location
I am considering adding a bonused location. It is far from home but close to other shops and nerdy girl places such as museums and a boatload of restaurants to try at least once.

If you have an urgent care office, you might search online for or ask about their range of services. These offices handle urgent matters which are unpredictable, and they might offer sports physicals and occupational medicine, such as tests, etc.At this time, sports physicals are happening before fall semester. Employment physicals of drug tests are as needed or requested. It might be a good idea to ask about a time frame that is typically quieter or less busy so that the few minutes you spend in each patient room will not impact on any patient activities.

I have 14 shops, have called all locations and have 2 appointments confirmed. I will be making my 3rd round of calls tomorrow.
I performed 4 of them on Friday. 1st there is no exterior photot required. I even called and confirmed because it is written in the directions but is not on the GoSpot App. Several locations were missing their medical illustration books or have more boards than was indicated on the workorder. All of these I just noted in the comments section. It is a very easy and quick project. The actual boards take 5 minutes to complete and a 2 minutes of app questions. I did spent some time at one locations working around patients but otherwise i tried to get there as soon as they opened as to avoid this. Great project and i have a bunch more to do this week!!
I did mine today and I felt it went okay. It's not difficult but I am actually to short to do this project with ease. I have muscle spasms from standing on tip toes for so long. This location had a lot of exam rooms but I'm sure I'll be good to go again tomorrow. It is a great project. I'd do more I think.
@CoffeeQueen: do you have a reacher, or entension tool? These are as cheap as a buck at a dollar store or in the thirty-ish dollar range at drugstores for more substantial tools. Your reacher oe extension tool would not help any patients who cannot reach the materials, but it might enable you to be comfortable when working on this project.

Did anyone else wonder if it might be efficient to have materials shipped to us? My efficiency would have been to remove plastic wrappers, rearrange box contents slightly, and spend approximately two fewer minutes per room. Those minutes matter to sore and tender parts.

I agree. I would have done the same thing. The location I did had 9 boxes waiting for me. That would have saved a lot of time and aggravation on site. I do have one of those tools but Id be afraid of dropping a whole bundle of brochures. I don't think they were made to grasp more than one item at a time.
Noooooo. I had 15 boxes shipped to me which had to be dragged in to the house last week, sorted by location, taken back to the car, then taken in to the locations. I have done four locations so far, (2 with boxes sent to me, and 2 with boxes at the location) and having the boxes on site was MUCH easier. I agree the support has been outstanding.

Good to know! Mine is a long, skinny beast that can lift and transport canned goods, sheaves of paper, and other items. That tool is older and its style might have been discontinued.

I still have not been able to contact 6 locations.
I completed a location today with 9 racks, 6 boxes of expired brochures piled in a back office (I had to remove) and books from 2015 hidden behind the current issue. Had to park in the rear of the building, the entrance was in the front, and 2 flights of stairs. My car was riding so low that I made a detour to a nearby school that recycled paper.
That sounds nightmarish
