August movie theater shops

Anyone have any clue as to what happened to them? I haven't seen anything from any company other than A-Closer-Look.

Are you a Regal Crown Club member? They've been advertising some free movies lately. I wonder if that interferes with their theaters' scheduled mystery shops, as in they've temporarily stopped them to avoid too much stuff going on at once?

My husband did one on Wednesday for AMC and has another scheduled for the 16th... they are still around.

I'm still seeing the AMC movies. I'm not seeing Regal movies. Too bad. Regal has been shopped by the same MSC for more than 10 years and they were the best in terms of easy shop, quick report, and reimbursement, with a nominal $5 fee to the shopper. I've been wondering if they lost the Regal contract. I've also seen free movies and I wondered if Regal plans to go the same route as McDonald's and stop mystery shops and get their information from surveys.

@roflwofl..One of the msc's I shop with the one with 5 dollar fee posted a couple of movie shops mid July with due date of August 4th and August 11th. and they dissappeared really fast..wonder if other states just got scooped up really quickly

Yes, the Regal shops evaporate super quick in my area. I have not seen any for August

I actually e-mailed the scheduler who handles the Regal account. Bad news. They killed the program completely.

OMG! That is a tragedy...no more free movie nights. I may die.

Too bad about Regal. I've done four movie shops this month (for different chains and MSCs) but I will miss the Regal shops. All my current movie shops require a list of movie previews; Regal didn't.

Yeah, I've done a couple of the ones that require a trailer list. They aren't as much fun.

I guess Regal's new ownership decided we aren't worth it. Jerks.
