I need a botox shop.

Botox shop. Is that a thing? I feel liked it should be a thing.

Don't know about that, but 5 or so years ago I did one for a company that was selling facelifts, and even the hair club for women. Shopped a cooking school and a tech school, and college bookstores. Back in my younger days...They did not allow me to get a facelift or hair anything on those shops...nor was I to sign up for the cooking or tech schools, just get the Financial aid info. Don't think I had to fill out the actual applications..."I am going to have to think about it. It is more money than I thought." The cooking school was really cool, but I knew that wearing that heavy white coat and hat did not go with menopause. The A/C was not blowing hard in those places!! smiling smiley
The waxing company has not been named. Do you want the MSC or a hint?

I know which one does the I-brow wax, and yes, since the client has not been named, I can say it: IPSOS.

i would never use Botox to get rid of wrinkles.I have heard that Botox is effective with certain medical conditions (such as intense migraines or excessive sweating, which I don't have) but unless a doctor said I needed to use it, I wouldn't do it.
Botox is poison, and should be used for deep lines on forehead, but not for me...I'm looking for Restyane shots, natural and work (trust me).....hints please. Groupon has nice coupons at a top Beverly Hills place, maybe when dentist work is paid off.....if I'm still alive.

I'm already signed up for the brow wax. Very excited!

Waxing - yay. I like threading, too. Laser hair removal, not so much - tried it years ago and had unpleasant after effects. The injectables hurt A LOT, from what I have heard, so no - not for me.
I've seen cooking shops and also hair shops at $$$ places but they seem to disappear before I can locate my mouse to click on it. All the energy, worry and frantic search to find these shops is causing the wrinkles to get deeper. My cure...chill a bit.
I would be careful with Botox. Everyone can choose for themselves, but the recommendation is that Botox is for some of the people some of the time. There are numerous other products that you can try. Your doc can tell you which ones would be suitable for you and your wrinkles.

I love the idea of eyebrow waxing shops. I have had this service and paid for it myself, and I liked it. Now, I tweeze. This is affordable. It costs as little as two bucks for tweezers and a little mirror at the dollar store and as much as anyone else might pay for expensive versions of those supplies. .Mind you, that was tmi and no one will pay me for that blah-bah, but at least I don't have to write a report about my eyebrow waxing experience.

Funny enough as soon as I replied to this thread I recieved the email for the wax shops. But I took too long to reply for my closest location.
I would be happy to shop fillers. Hahaha! Put some life back in my old face.

My daughter gets her eyebrows waxed. Much less painful to just tweeze! Since she does it anyway, I sent her the info on the shop. I do not understand why people won't mystery shop for things they use/need! Oil changes, eyebrow waxing, car emissions inspections, groceries.

Of course, if I were making $50 an hour as a nurse, shopping wouldn't have the same financial appeal...except that I'm so stingy, I'd probably still do it just for saving the $$$!!!!

People do crazy things. I agree that I'd never inject poison into my face.
Everyone around here looks surprised all of the time. Eventually, your eyebrows look arched all of the time and nothing on your face moves, giving you this odd, surprised expression. I'm used to it now though.
I use La Prairie products instead of Botox. More expensive, but safer and really good. I'm old enough for Botox, but I don't need it at all.

ETA: I was offered a Botox shop in June. I declined. LOL

The stars use it for fancy dresses, underarms don't sweat with a shot....My sister used to have Botox parties, no expression left....I bought Christy Brinkly's cream for fine lines around mouth, and like it, I like looking like myself, not like everyone else.

Sooopp... does this mean that there will not be a future show titled Sweating With The Stars?

I would never trust any of these items for wrinkle repair, including botox, where the before and after pics are mostly of people in their late twenties or early thirties. Show me before and after pics of real wrinkles (maybe those in their late 50's and up) and I might be impressed.
And Botox...I think if people figured out how much they are spending both in real $$ and un realized earnings or time off for the time spent going back every few months for shots they would realize that a more permanent solution would end up being less expensive in the long run...Of course the expense is a lot in that case but all those stars can afford it.
botox is supposed to be one of those things you start before a wrinkle shows up. it works as a preventative measure. not moving the area around a wrinkle will make it appear less "deep" over time, but the purpose of botox once you have wrinkles is to make the most out of the fillers that you'll also need to buy to fill in those wrinkles. Most of the fillers are hyaluronic acid, which our body stops naturally producing over the time. The less that you move the area, the longer it takes for your body to absorb the hyaluronic acid.

the older you are when you begin botox, the more likely you are to look like you have a frozen face. there also comes a point where beginning a botox regimen won't work. that's when a facelift comes in.

the person administering it also plays a big role. some people push customers to get botox on their chin and other areas of the face that you don't even think about.
My eyebrow wax email said my scenario would be an inquiry only with no purchase required. Fee $5. Nope.
Oh, in my area it pays an $8 fee plus up to $25 reimbursement for the brow wax. I just don't need a brow wax. I do a maintenance pluck frequently and I have dark blonde hair and brows, so...
I don't understand why some people get so obsessed over wrinkles! I mean, if you have Grand Canyon and the Rockies on your face, that's one thing. But normal wrinkles that we get as we age.... Actually, if people would take care of their faces starting early in life, they would have far less need to "cure" wrinkles as they age. Limit sun exposure, use sunscreen and high-quality moisturizers, and no soap on the face. It's important to keep your skin hydrated, which helps "plump" it and mitigates wrinkles. And don't abrade or use peels! Our skin sheds naturally as old cells die off and new skin is fully formed and ready to be exposed. A nice clay mask will clean out the pores but not strip essential oils, which abrasion will do.

I do sometimes use a cosmetic line "filler" that I get from Avon, but only when I'm going out "all decked out," which isn't often.... Sadly.

I wouldn't want a Botox shop or an eyebrow waxing shop (not having to tweeze more than a couple of times a month is a benefit of getting old!). But I would love a cooking shop....

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.

What a bummer! I rushed to sign up for a brow wax shop and found out I'm too old!!! What do they mean? I still get my brows waxed even if I am old!
I have never had my brows waxed but thought about doing it with the shop. There was still one of those shops left nearby when I looked. All the rest were no purchase ones for the grand sum of $5. Is this msc taking hints from MF with that $5 bookstore shop? Do these companies think we all live in a third world country with a much lower cost of living?
In any case I have blond eyebrows and there are lots of hairs but hard to see since they blend in with my face. As I get older my already bad eyesight is even worse. I cannot see my eyebrows in the mirror to tweeze them. put on my glasses and the frames block the view...I have never had any love for those magnifying mirrors either so if this is another round next month when I have more time I might try a waxing.

I make a very comfortable living, but I still shop, especially if it's something that I need or want. I'd rather put that money towards a vacation.
I saw the eyebrow wax shop and almost applied but I didnt meet the 25 year old requirement yet. Two, my wax place offered a 35% off coupon which is extremely rare.
