Time for Vacation

I don’t post often but read this forum almost daily. For two years I’ve performed shops and saved every penny in a special account to surprise hubby with a retirement vacation. He retired Friday and we are leaving on Sunday for an extended trip to the Northwest (Wyoming, Utah, Montana, the Dakotas and ending in Az to see grandkids). I haven’t done many shops this year due to back surgery, death in the family, and other distractions but looking to get into the groove again soon. Yes, I’m a “hobby”shopper but loving the extras it brings to my life!

Congrats on achieving the goal you've set! Enjoy your well-earned vacation - sounds like a great trip!

Dinner at Five Guys along the way? winking smiley
No, no shopping at all. Even airports....but I’m tempted!

I like your story and your vacation plan definitely sounds great! That is my favorite part of the country. Absolutely beautiful. Enjoy!
Trust me, great idea. Stick to that. Have a great time!

I just had a vacation without shopping, trust me, it's such a relief, enjoy and no shopping, not even airports.

Live consciously....
Congratulations on achieving your goal, and have a wonderful trip! Congrats to your husband, too, on his retirement.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
Montana was a pass-thru state. We had lunch in Cook City.
