Newbie Questions!

I’m new to mystery shopping and have a couple questions: I’m signed up with just a couple companies, one I’ve done multiple jobs for and another I’m doing my first job with later today. Both companies are offering a shop at the same place- I am already going there today for my first job with company 2. Can I take the shop with company one for the same place and do both shops for both companies at the same time Or would that be an issue? It’s for two separate reasons but I found it strange both companies had shops opened for the same place, same couple of days.

My next question is: the new to me company is legit from what I can see, but I’m finding a few of their offered jobs to have wrong addresses/information. I emailed the scheduler to let him know the shop I have today is not at the address listed, he didn’t know that. Another shop close by my home is now under new management and not the company listed on the job board. I’m not sure if this is common for that company or if anyone else has run into that.

For your first question: it's called double dipping, and it's okay if you are shopping different departments with different MSCs, in my opinion. What I would do is go in the location (guessing it's a big box store, perhaps electronics) and do one shop, go out to your car and take a few notes, then go back in to do the second shop.

For your second question, it's hard to give you an answer without knowing what company it is. You are allowed to name the MSC since you have not named the client. And yes, this happens with various MSCs from time to time where the addresses or other information is incorrect. If you share the name of the company someone can give you better info.
Sometimes, the shop guidelines tell you how to handle empty lots, closed locations, changed names or identities (rebranding, etc.), and other situations. Some surveys include a space where you can include such information and explain what was'/was not there and what you did/did not do.

If I recall, sometimes we are sent to locations that have different names because we are doing competitor shops and gathering information for some entity that is not the owner of the location. If you are sent to 'gas station X' but find that the location is named 'gas station Q', you might be doing a competitor shop, or you might be confirming a re-brand, or you might have found old information. I have wondered if these shops are performed for potential buyers, but I do not know about that.

What mystery shopping companies pay the fastest? I'm new and have signed up to around 20 companies. I need to get some income rolling in to handle the expenses of the other mystery shops so I do need a couple of companies, or three that pay within days to a couple of weeks. Does anyone know of any? I would appreciate the info! smiling smiley
Trendsource pays quickly, so does Mintel. But, Trendsource doesn't pay that much and Mintel doesn't have regular assignments in my area, so I only do a few projects a year for each of them.

That's a link to a thread in this forum that lists companies and their pay dates. It is kind of old and some of them might be out of business/sold/merged or changed their payment terms, not sure.
Ipsos pays twice a month
SeeLevelHX pays the 15th of the month following the month the shopped was completed so anything done now to sep 30th would be paid OCT 15th
Bare Associates same as SeeLevelHX
Trendsource pays twice a month as does Sales Quality Group
Service Preformance group is a fast payer within a month no matter what day shopped
Mintel also pays quick.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Field Agent and Easy Shift are apps that pay within a week or less, sometimes, one day. You might want to try some to get some quick cash. They don't pay much, but it's something.

My suggestion would be to start out with shops this do not have a purchase requirement. That way you can get some income rolling in without any out of pocket. Try banks & cell phone shops.
Hello, I am new here but I had a shopping visit I did for almost a year with Bare and International service check in Nigeria. Both claim to have paid me but I didn't receive their payments. Which payment option would you advise me to choose as I have another check visit soon. And I really need to know the companies that run checks in Nigeria. Thanks
