Green and white gas shops

I have doing these for years. I was wondering why I have not seen anything, emails or otherwise about the start of the 3rd/4th quarter shops that run through late November? Can anyone clue me in. I have called and receive a person answering that has no information which is frustrating to say the least.

I was offered a "route" last week. The description was for "9 photos" but I remembered from last quarter how they also wanted every pump. Some of the stations on the "route" have 30 pumps each, so I counter-offered... Got a call with a counter-counter offer, adding about five bucks to the original route offer. I asked the scheduler if there was still that requirement of every single pump like last quarter, though the description indicated 9 photos... She said I would have to read my update letter. You don't get an update letter without accepting shops... so I did not accept the counter-counter offer. GOt another call, later that day, with a second counter-counter offer, adding about five bucks. Nope. Holding firm, since my offer was not unreasonable. The route offer is no longer on the board and I see no green and white shops of any kind on the board. Either I was removed from the program or you can only see the shops when there is a route offer on the board.
I was offered a route a week or so ago in a separate email. Two of the shops I did not want, one in a bad area and one is a big station that is really busy that takes forever to do every pump. I clicked the ones I wanted and submitted and was assigned them right away. Yes there is a picture of every pump required. The two shops I did not take never showed up on my job listing so they must have offered them to someone else as a route.
The routes were released at the end of last week / beginning of this week. I was told that they first offer them to previous shoppers, then those not accepted get offered to new and newer route shoppers, and then after that the orphan locations will get put on the board. I was told not to expect the orphans until toward the end of October.
They really should be honest about the required photos, though. One of each pump can a lot longer than the "9 photos..." if there are 30 pumps and it is a busy location. When they offer the routes to the prior shoppers first, at least the prior shopper will know what they are in for and whether the fee is reasonable or not for the locations on the route. Someone new might get suckered.
When I log in to the MSC's web page, it always goes to the "Home" page. It is there that I can see any new information pertinent to my account. Information is displayed referring to "Outstanding Holds, Shops Due, and Bundles Offered".
It is there that I found I had numerous bundles offered. I clicked on them and found them to be the same shops I have done previously. I noted the incentives given on some bundles and their lack on others. I accepted some and countered on others with the incentive I would like to receive.
Some were approved and, I am assuming, that others shall be offered to other shoppers. In the past, I've shaved off some shops as I had done them only because of the very significant incentives offered. Otherwise, with the distance needed to be traveled, I never would have done them.
The best part about doing these is that they give the shopper a 6 week window to perform the shop, no specific dates required.

According to one of the long-time green and white folks, that is not entirely accurate. You still have to do at least 10% of your total shops per week or there will be issues. He did tell me, however, that if say you are unavailable the third week, as long as you've done at least 30% of the ones that have been assigned to you, you should be OK. He did suggest to send them a message confirming your plans however.
This is true. It used to be that if you were a reliable shopper they didn't start bugging you until the last couple of weeks. Now they will call if you haven't completed the 10% in a particular week.

You're right, of course. I always forget about that little tidbit!

BTW, a word to the wise: Just the other day, I did a few of each of the 3 different gas station shops in one day. It can get confusing if you don't have a good worksheet for each type of gas station. Plus, be sure to have the right nametag for the yellow and the green shops!

Interesting, I didn't see any mention of the 10% per week condition when I was offered my route. I'm used to that with the "V" route, but not on this. I will hit 10% after one week, but won't be at 20% after two the way I scheduled it. Planned on it being my late-month focus. We'll see how it goes. Never had any issues with this MSC.
