She is correct. You don't have to see a specific movie. You may have to observe certain trailers shown before a movie, or the movie goers (their gender or age group), or if the movie attendant/usher appears anytime during the movie, (if you must see a moviesmiling smiley)

Which assignment did you ask about? There are assignments that require full viewing and audience reactions during the movie. Some assignments are checking trailers. Others are theater visits observing all aspects - box office, concessions, etc., and you stay for the entire movie (your choice of movie) to watch usher checks.

Do you guys do these movies for $10 ? almost 2 hour in a theatre and most of the times , movies are not worth watching and later big report to fill . Curious in my portal it always shows for $10.
Since Regal is no longer shopped in my area, what's left are the out of the way, bargain theater shops that have $2 Tuesdays. $10 reimbursement + $10 shopper fee ought to about cover it, but in my area the guidelines state that only ONE admission will be reimbursed. So, because the theater is in a scuzzy neighborhood, older movies, less money - I'm not interested.
I happen to love movie shops where your able to watch the entire movie..I don't mind the report..unfortunately I don't get a chance to wait for a bonus..they go really fast in my area..like everyone else though..regal was my favorite..

Shopping Idaho and Oregon/Idaho border region.
I used to enjoy taking my family for an occasional night out at the movies, even though the closest theatre is a 50 mi RT. There was one company that I regularly performed the full theatre assignment for, but it became onerous. The report is detailed, LONG (hours to complete the report each time), many photos are required and photos must be sized and named a certain way. They reimbursed fairly well, but had required purchases and activities we weren't interested in, so the only way for our whole expense to fit within the amount was if two of us shared a meal. They never offer a report fee on top of the reimbursement and eventually, it just wasn't worth it to us to drive the distance, spend a minimum of four hours in the theater and stay up half the night trying to get the report in by the deadline.

I actually like doing theatre and trailer checks, but the pay is so low that it is hard to justify for me unless I was already in the area and just have time to kill. Typical pay for trailer check for one movie is $9 and I have to drive a minimum of an hour plus the 30-40 minutes in theatre and the 15 minutes or so entering the report.

When there are multiple movies to check it is slightly better at $14 plus $2.50 for each additional print, but still works out to be $4-$5 an hour for my time and I DON'T even get to see a movie (no ticket is included with trailer checks and we are expressly instructed NOT to stay after we get audience reactions in the first 5-10 minutes of the movie unless we buy our own, non-reimbursed ticket).
I love theater shops!! I rarely went to the movie theatre growing up and I always viewed it as a big treat. Now I can often see the newest movies for "free," and personally I think the reports are quite easy once you've done them once or twice. I don't really pay for any entertainment besides my favorite bar, so shopping movies instead of paying is a decent bit of my budget.
