Brazilian Churrascaria Restaurant

Has anyone done one of these? It's an all you can eat grilled meat restaurant but also kind of pricey at about $45 per person. I'd hate to do the shop and get the report rejected for some reason.

I've been having issues with the editors at this MSC the last couple of weeks. Like telling me they texted me to send them a picture of the outside of the store, and I got no such text. When I asked when they texted me, they just said to e-mail the picture.

I've wanted to do this shop But I'm waiting for another MSC to get the client. I don't want to deal with the current one. The owner post frequently on the board, do a search and you'd should be able to reach him for help.
The MSC can be named since the restaurant wasn't.

Please do, I would love me some meat coma if I can get some, and I am 25% Brazilian. Hook a brotha up. LOL

I have done this shop for sentry 2x. Lengthy detailed shop but well worth it. I normally don't do these fine dining types of shops but this one is worth it as the restaurant and food is excellent. Don't eat the day you go just drink water up until the shop.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
It is worth it because the food is good quality and the restaurant is nice. I don’t remember anything unusual being asked or required. Report is detailed but not as for Coyle, IMO
It took me so long to do this report, and I almost didn’t get paid because I didn’t ask the bartender if there were any specials. The requirements were weird, like paying the bill 1/2 in cash and 1/2 on a credit card. Also for the bar visit, one person orders the special drink and the other person has to order tap water. If these things don’t make it obvious you are a mystery shopper I don’t know what does. The restaurant is amazing and I would go there again as a regular person, just not as a mystery shop (not with this company!)
Thanks for starting this thread as there is one really close to me and I’ve thought about trying it. I think the current MSC is okay and while they have always accepted my reports they always have comments about them as well. I’ve rarely received anything but near perfect or perfect reports from other MSCs. I figured since the price of this restaurant is high they would be super picky with the report. I’ve eaten here on my own dime and it is an amazing restaurant! I wonder if all the shops require the weird payment and ordering water... I do think that seems strange and might make it more obvious you are a shopper...that’s just my opinion though...
This chain has a location downtown, and while I haven't shopped it, I've seen it on the boards. I have shopped a similar concept with a more ethnic name for another MSC. It was a great experience. That requirement about splitting the bill does seem strange. I can't imagine a normal customer for this restaurant's clientele making such a request.

I've done one for ACL for a Brazilian restaurant with the name in Portuguese. I don't remember weird drink or payment requirements. I did have to get two drinks, a dessert and a coffee. After that meat fest, I barely touched the dessert or coffee. The report was fairly standard for ACL.
I did one for the MSC on iSecretShop, and there was nothing weird (like the half-cash, half-card mess mentioned earlier). They seem picky on their questions, but if you phrase them back to them how they asked, I've had no trouble. Just signed up for another one this month smiling smiley
caipirinha was your "weird" drink, they are awesome! Also the National drink of Brazil depending on who you ask.

You pay cash at the bar and credit card for the meal. It's an amazing food experience. The report is no worse than other fine dining shops.

Yeah, I don't eat meat, but there are a lot of great places making caipirinhas. It's not that weird.... or exotic.
