The original business was closed. Yes? That is a closed location. They only care whether the original business was there, not if some thing else was.
Always read the fine print when the fee seems too good to be true. Sometimes they send you to a location that was supposed to de-brand by removing proprietary colors and advertising but the owner/operator is dragging their heels. Like convenience stores that sell gasoline. They contract with the oil companies to keep the location standards to a required level, public restrooms, clean building, etc.
I have been sent to convenience stores that are closed and in the process of being dismantled. And, they send you on a high priced mystery shop where you are required to make a purchased. But, there is nothing available, there is no store. That high-priced fee, that you have planned a route to work 90 miles from home, now pays $3. Go figure. Again, the initials are M. F.
I could go on about the unfair and underhanded policies of M. F., just saying.
