Just saw that Jack in the box shops are back!!!

I've seen where they don't have any time restrictions. You can do them outside the designated hours if you can't do it in the time frame the client is requesting. The hardest part of these is getting the drive-up window. I've done a couple and the employees do not like it you get them in the photo. And for mine, it was hard not to. She wouldn't step away from the window. So I just pointed and clicked. She turned her head away and gave me a look. I just said it was for Facebook. I prefer not to do them until they're over $11 and I need to eat. They are easier since you don't have to go inside though. But the window picture is a pain.

I did one for $15 last week. A burger and fries with water was $5.68. No way was I doing this for $5 since I'm watching what I eat.
They have to turn their backs to process the credit card. They also turn their back 99% of the time to get the bag after they hand you the drink. 1 second is all I need to get a couple pictures of the window. It has not been a problem.
I did three today. These are the last ones. No amount of money could make me do any more. All three places failed big time. From the wrong order to having to go back inside to get a receipt I spent a couple of hours frustrated. Just had to stop at the casino on the way home to get some Pepsi and play the slots for a while as a means to relax. Won just enough to cover the amount of money I spent on these hamburgers. I found a street person on the way to the casino and gave him the food even though by that time it was cold.
Great! That's less competition in the Puget Sound area. I am going to see about putting together another 40+ shop route tomorrow! Maybe I can take Monday off my full time work and do a second huge route on Monday? These routes are epic.

In WA, the JJ, fries and water come to $5.26. Ive decided that since I'm going to be taxed on my entire commission, I'd be crazy to do the shops any longer.

MF Johnson: may I ask what you do with the food. I've eaten a few, gave a few to people on the corners with their signs and tossed the rest. They are not my favorite burger. I have paid anywhere from $6.60 to $7.13 for the burger, fries and drink (no charge) so I don't know where the $5.26 comes from unless it is in another county with a different tax structure. Thank you.
Methinks you take me too seriously....

Oops MF Johnson. I just read your posts and assumed you were a super shopper and could get something like this done. Like those shoppers who do multiple gas station shops in a day plus a couple of other shops thrown in.
@Clamchatter
I shop a lot - that is true. I do very well making money through shopping. However, I don't touch fast food shops....I primarily focus on apartments, casinos and video shops. I've frequently made jest of the Jack-in-the-Box shops frequently in the past. smiling smiley

@amberngriffinco...if these 50 dollar shops are within an hour of you..you need to grab them immediately..I havent seen them go higher than 17 dollars

In general, $15 is the usual highest I see before they let them go undone. Some remote locations go higher early on.

It looks like the chain is having some troubles..

I wish there was some better variety in what we are allowed to order. I also feel they are not testing the right thing. Online order difficulties and other areas should be considered for these shops. I can't really figure out how valid the sandwich test is in the current survey.
Just hit $15 so that’s my dinner tonight. The window picture shot instructions say it can be at an angle as you approach the pick up station. The example photo is actually shot through the windshield. Not sure f this is a new change but now should not be difficult to get a photo without cashier noticing.
I see them at $20 and $25 - a bit out of the way. If they are still around after Christmas, I might actually do some. I'm eyeing putting together a pretty good route of gas stations. Grease and gas go together, so why not? I'm now seeing Hyundai dealerships at $50 (lots) and $70 (one). That's just enough to coax me to go onto a car lot if my other shops dry up.....

Highest here is 15.00, they are now at 12.00...and one a day is too much for me, but I've done a few at 15.00 when they allowed the Jr. 5.85 combo,

Just did mine and window pic at angle worked fine. At least I hope the editor agrees.

I think there is no editor - it goes straight to the JITB.
Anyway, I shoot at an angle (who doesn't??) and even then they can just about see me. On one I took a picture of the driveway and it flashed. I'm almost sure they spotted who I was. I took the flash off for the window Pic but... yikes.

You would drive an hour to do a $50 JITB? I might drive 15 minutes, tops.
After reading this thread, I checked and they are still 5.00 with a ton on the board. I wrote and asked why they haven't gone up, waiting for an answer or a better offer.

The new period of shops starts on Dec 24, which is why they are only $5. The last period just ended, and the shops were up to $15.
I see one for today for $25 in a city that apparently has few shoppers. Some starting on the 24th are $7.
There are some in my area that are $25 today only. I would do them for that price, however, when I go to apply I can't access the date. Then I get a message that I need to select a date so I manually enter it. And that doesn't work. Weird.
@amberngriffinco...yes absolutely..However if driving an hour out I would try to have 3 to 6 other shops in the area I'm driving to. I actually dont mind driving though..
