Why is mystery shopper on your checks?

Hey..this is just a gripe I have. I signed up for alot of mscs a few months ago. Most of them I signed up either to be paid by paypal or direct deposit as checks aren't my favorite method. I had forgotten about one of the mscs that pay by check and did a shop for them a couple of months ago. I recvd my check and literally the word mystery shopper is on the check...grrrr..

It did provide me with some amusement though. I was actually shopping another bank about an hour from my address and I stopped in my bank to deposit the check ( who I actually shop sometimes....just not this location and not today) the teller was friendly..but wow did he go over the top with his customer service after he saw the check lol...

If any mscs are reading this..please keep mystery shopper off your checks..most of us shop banks...

Hey, if it makes your bank shop easier, I"m all for it... As long as the MSC's check is not the one being deposited at the client bank at the time of shop, I can't see how there is a conflict of interest.
The Canadian checks from SQM don't work with my mobile deposit so I have to use an old fashioned ATM to deposit them!
When I shopped full time, I shopped both my main bank and crappy credit union. This was before both institutions had mobile deposit, and both MSCs paid by check.

The end of the month was fun keeping that straight.
