Good food. Not necessarily nice folks. Depends on the location and who's on duty. An employee was such a nightmare on my shop that the report was a pain to write.
Agree. Delicious food for this chain and worth my work for reimbursement only.

Sue, sorry to hear that. Maybe DC area folks are nicer than other places ? (wink) Not always the case but in this instance may be true.

Like the food! The tomato & lettuce make the overall dish feel 'lighter'.
Thanks, Wales. For my shop, it was just one employee who was nasty (not just to me). The other employees were nice.
I become a real life customer of many places I shopped. I haven't gone back to that location since my shop even though the food was very good. I can't help it. Every time I think of that location, I recall vividly how unpleasant my shop experience was. That kills my appetite.

The employees in my area are nice, nothing overly great or horrible. The hot sauce- watch out, it is one of the spiciest things I have ever encountered. The staff is supposed to warn you is it spicy but trust me, it is exponentially hotter than any sauce other restaurants serve.
The food is good but the toppings are lacking- no feta cheese or cucumbers.

I just tried this place last month, i loved it!! Would definitely eat there on my own dime too!

They recently started expanding. They were exclusively in NYC as only food carts and expanded their business. Don't be surprised if they are in your area within the next few years.

I feel your pain. Pages and pages on the Applebees thread and the few near me are not shopped. Chin up though, Halal is just ok, I think, for commercial chain food. Not really authentic.
100% disagree. Food is very mediocre - at best. The report stinks. I did it once. Never again. Not worth it
I have never done it and there are several locations in my town (well big, big city). Unfortunately none are closer than 9 miles which means a round trip drive of an hour and a half on a good day and a parking headache. These shops do not get snapped up around here but I guess I will have to do one and see if the food is as good as some of you say.
I object on general principle to any shop that doesn't offer payment. Especially for fast casual food. It's the height of cheapness and arrogance to expect that we will work for food. I have eaten there for the first time recently, but now that I know they don't think they have to pay shoppers, never again. And fie on the MSC that got the contract and advised them that they could do this.

When I have a day route and would need to eat out anyway, fast casual with healthy option and an easy report, is a winner, even without a fee. YMMV

I have done this shop in Ontario. Only because of how close it is to where I live, if there isn't a fee attached don't expect people to go out of there way to complete.
