I saw these offered in connecting with some Android Pay shops. I have no idea what the heck they are talking about and the MSC doesn't bother to explain it. I just don't bother with them.
I've done them. The explaination of tokenized vs untokenized is in the shop guidelines when you are accepted for a shop. Basically, tokenized shops test Google Pay in whatever stores app you are testing, but where your credit card is already linked in Google Pay before making a purchase. The untokenized shops are where you have to make sure your Google Pay app has all credit cards and payment methods deleted first, then going into the store's app to pay using Google Pay.
