Have you ever submitted a report and wondered if it was going to be accepted and surprised when it was?

I have done good shops and bad shops. There are times I've sent in reports that were not my best, or I had to guess on questions, yet I got a 10 on the report. It makes me wonder if ALL the reports are read over. Do they just skim over some, or do an audit and sample some later.

Yes. I think we all have. for SASSIE shops I might get something like a "7/10" and the editor will tell me all I did wrong. Like I care. Am I getting paid for this visit? Yes! Good - then I don't care what you wrote for your comments. I am getting paid - that is all I care about
I was talking about doing reports that we know are not very good, YET we still get a 10. I really don't care about the scores, as long as I get paid. But some reports I wonder how it ever got a 10.
john974 Maybe your reports are better than you think. If all questions yes and no are answered honestly, your spelling is correct and your report tells the story, you should get a 10.
I want the editor to tell me what I did wrong so that I can correct it in the future. Each MSC has there own requirements, give them what they want. I have learned allot from editors that are good ones.

Totally flubbed one by forgetting a picture of an appetizer, still got accepted. On a Chili's shop my table end shot looked like I was drunk and falling over when I took it, still got accepted. The secret is always to be totally honest up front, tell them what happened, and tell them you will be happy to repeat the shop to make it right.
