Exxon Night Shops

I check the job board almost every day to keep tabs on what’s out there. The “evening eligible” shops were not on my board until a day or two ago. They popped up suddenly & with large incentives because the project is almost due. It’s annoying because I just did a route and could easily have added in these locations, but they were not on my map. I have never done these locations before, so it’s not a rotation thing. They are spread out across the map so it’s not a route that someone dumped.

Anyone know what the deal is?

Just to clarify, do you mean "Evening Eligible" in that they will pay more if you do them at night, but, you could still do them in the daytime?
Or, are they "Evening Only" meaning that they must be done in the evening?

All that aside, I understand that rotation might be lifted in the next week. Not sure why.

Sometimes I worry too much. It strangely reminds me of how, all of a sudden, there were "Green" gas stations everywhere available. Then we learned that they were going to another MSC.

I hope this is not that case with the Exxon shops!

I was denied $50 payment because the location was closed when I arrived at 8:50pm. Not a car in sight/ no lights on...

Yes, I had called ahead. I was told they close at 10pm. My shop was declined, with the MSC stating when THEY called the employee stated the closing time was 9pm, so I should have arrived by 8:15.
I called back to the station, using a recording app and was AGAIN told closing time is 10pm. The MSC was emailed the recording. I am still not being paid.

It’s the Q4 evening eligible shops. I went and read over their latest email and it looks like there is a $10 added bonus if done during dark hours, but could also be performed during daylight.

I just don’t get why they appeared on my map so late in the quarter. The “anytime” shops have been visible to me the whole time.

For the last two years or so, I have had the odd quarterly station show up in the third month of the quarter. This is actually the first quarter in a while that I have not had these show up near me, though I may have missed them.

I had one night-only shop pop up like that last week. I'm just assuming it was for the usual reason - another shopper took the shop, and then did not do it or did it poorly. If they were night-only, it also may be the case the shops were automatically assigned, and the shopper could not do them at night. Another possibility is you were searching only for shops with incentives, and the incentives were not visible to you until that time.
