Twice shy

I have had a yogurt shop rejected recently due to problems with the shop's credit card system, not due to me. It was a small amount out of my pocket, but I was really annoyed. That said, today I was attempting to do a Google Pay shop. I read and reread the guidelines. The guidelines were written for many different shopping apps and were for both tokenized and non tokenized shopping. I got confused last night because the guidelines specifically told me to do something for my assigned app that directly negated it being tokenized. I contacted the scheduler and got a mostly unhelpful reply that basically just said I was non tokenized. So, I set up my phone doing exactly what the directions said but not doing what it said at the bottom. When I started my purchase, my screen never looked like anything that would match the required screen shot.
I read and reread the guidelines again. I googled a few things. But, eventually I gave up! I did not want to be out any more money this month or, ever, for that matter. I emailed the scheduler and asked for better instructions and am waiting for a response. If I don't get a response, how do I cancel the shop from my end? I guess I will never get another offer from that company, but, it is not worth gambling my own money.

I like the Google Pay jobs and have gotten some nice things as well as food deliveries. I do agree with you the screenshots and their names/descriptions are not accurate. I have learned to take a screenshot of every screen. The editors will usually respond and ask if you have another screenshot to send them if it's not correct. My experience is they are helpful.

I do not know how to cancel the job other than to contact the scheduler. Have you heard from him/her?
About a year ago, I did a shop at Starbucks. I had to use my Chase mobile pay. I set it up the day before the shop, but I did not disable Samsung Pay, which is my default. I didn't realize it until the following month when I went to pay my credit card.
